I have clicked on the correct console as highlighted and nothing happens after interacting with the console. Addons are up to date with no errors. I dont appear to be phased. What are you supposed to do here?

Edit to add: I had to drop the quest because I was glitched. When I reset the quest, a little rod finally appeared on the left hand side of the console. Click the rod on the left, then it will give you a very faint rod to click in the center of the console.

For Biodome D-28

Click the Rod of Activation just next to/ to the left of the console, interact with the console
You have to hover over the ROD on the Console, click it again
Finally, interact with the console for completion (kind of frustrating :/)

I was getting incredibly frustrating when the Activation Rod wasn't showing up at D-28.

Turns out you have to visit Biome Z-22, V-37, and D-28 in that order (or at least D-28 last). I hope that helps!

For console D-28, you must pick up the activation rod in the box directly to the left of the console, then slot it into the console before clicking to receive credit for stabilizing it.

I had issues targeting the part of the console to slot in the rod, and I found turning my camera sideways/at ground level so you're looking at the console from the left or right made it much easier.

If you can't do anything at D-28 then you probably missed V-37 which you must do first

If you're stuck with any of the consoles, re-picking the quest a couple times did the trick for me. It put the consoles in proper order and all items appeared. The only frustrating part is going to be the last platform, where you have to place the rod onto the console slot, sometimes it gets clunky, depending on your camera angle.

Got stuck on this quest the first time, read all the comments, abandoned the quest to make sure I was doing it in the proper order (I did). I picked up the piece twice and each time it wouldn't work. Then I REFRESHED, yup saw the Rod just glowing over the console and clicked it.

Quest was completed but not working. So I went to /way #2371 49.97 56.5 V-37 Console
Click console, kill mob. Then watch your map, go to the yellow marker, click the rod thing on the ground next to the bin and then click the console next to it.
Only then you can fly back to Ve'nari to complete. This quest is bugged as hell. Certainly never tested...

Clearly someone at Blizzard is angry at all the accessibility improvements and decided to make these dome quest involve INVISIBLE interactive elements.

Description

The Shadowguard attack caused chaos and disarray in this dome. Several control consoles have powered down, and my consultants are stretched thin reviving their assigned biomes and systems. This is where you come in, <name>. It's an easy, but critical job. Find the disabled consoles and make sure they restart.
