~~is the weapon you get for this quest really fixed? would be extremely annoying to only be able to select the crit 2 hand as a ret when i actually need the mastery one...~~

apparently you just get a token and you are able to select any weapon you want. nice - sadly i need an embellished algari weapon.

I have canceled the Q, and took it again, because for some reason the reward swapped to one-hand and shield. And now, it does not register my acquired conq. this season... Mhm.

I could change rewards by following steps.

0. abandon quest
1. Equip your wanted Gear set(if you want 1h&shield, take them)
2. log out &in
3. you can get quest with collect rewards.

Picked this up as a Resto Shaman and did my conquest cap for the week.

Now I've checked the quest again while specced as Enhance and it's showing me Enhance weapons. Tried respeccing, relogging, it's still showing the same.

I really hope it applies to conquest earned retroactively and not week by week, otherwise it's going to gimp a lot of people.

In TWW you can’t buy weapons from Lalandi, the conquest quartermaster, until you’ve earned 2500 conquest this season.

Weapons of Conquest has been removed according to the Blue Post link provided by tandk. So that’s why it disappeared from your quest log if you’d already picked up the quest.

Now, you’ll earn the achievement Forged Weapons of Conquest and receive a Forged Gladiator's Coin Pouch in your mailbox. The icon looks like a picnic hamper. The pouch contains 2 Forged Gladiator's Weapon Token tokens. Use them to buy gladiator weapons: 2 one-handed weapons or a single one-handed weapon. At the moment you can’t buy gear with the tokens. So check your mailbox as soon as you earn this Achievement before buying using conquest or Bloody Tokenss to buy weapons.

This xpac conquest drops from every crate and Bounty killed in World PVP. You’re no longer limited to one of each per day. And loot from a Bounty is no longer in a brown bag in the dirt — just click on the small glowing pylon with your faction’s shield.

To unlock the weekly Sparks of War quests, have a level 80 character do the campaign storyline quests (marked by chevrons) in all 4 zones. You’ll also need to do the next campaign quest Surface Bound which starts a new storyline. You’ll earn World Quests & Adventure Mode which unlocks the weekly Sparks of War quests given by Ruffious in the PVP plaza.

Edit: Written before quest was removed. Asked for a voucher instead of a predetermined weapon. So glad they’re doing this now.

Earning 2500 conquest unlocks weapon purchases. But pick up this quest first thing from Lalandi in the SE corner of Dornogol (55.2, 76.2) in the PVP plaza.

If you don’t see the quest, turn on War Mode.

The count on the quest bar will only reflect conquest earned after you picked up this quest. There’s a separate gold bar on the PVP LFG tab that shows all conquest earned this season and the cumulative cap.

The quest reward is a weapon. But it’s a wasted reward when it’s the wrong weapon or specs. IMO the reward should be a voucher for a weapon(s) to be redeemed at the conquest quartermaster. The way things are, you’ll have to spend your first conquest on the right weapon(s).

If you turn the quest in, will the conquest points disappear, or will they still be available for you to purchase items?

This quest got removed with reset 9-24-24. Its an Achievement now called "Forged Weapons of Conquest" that gives you tokens that can be traded for a weapon.

as of hotfix today 9/24/2024 this quest is no longer in my questlog or alts, i was at 2000/2500 on main and its gone and no longer shows above her head the grey (...) quest in progress
