It seems that the quest 'Sedition' opens after completing this quest. You can see the '!' on your map, pretty much in the center of Dornogal. /way 45.89, 47.36

Entrance to the tunnels is at /way 62.18, 48.78

He wasn't showing up for me at first when I ran down there, but I ran back to the start of the tunnel and back and he was there.

A note for people completing this at level 80/the upper levels - it may show as Trivial, if you ended up in another zone from one of the other quests. The ! wasn't showing up on my map, turned on tracking for Low Level Quests, bam. There he was.

The quest seems to be glitched at this writing. I have killed this guy over and over with no credit for quest completion.

So I wasted about 10 minutes running around trying to find where to finish this quest. After speaking to Speakeasy Runeguard, he steps aside and you are supposed to go down the corridor he was guarding. I wasn't really paying attention and I continued down the stairs instead, DO NOT DO THIS. That will just bring you down to a shady area where the black market auction house is. At least I found that, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Anyways, if you are looking down the stairs after talking to the runeguard, take the corridor to the right of him!

The entrance is at 61/37. Just under the letter A in Stoneshapers at the Stoneshapers Atrium.

Did anyone else find it slightly annoying that Merrix says not to fight - "I would have us exchange words, not blows" - but you have to fight immediately while Merrix stands there smiling? I spent like five minutes healing myself and running around thinking there was more to it.

Obstorn never stops and you just have to beat him down to almost nothing before he gives up.

Sigh. So much for non-violence!

Description

Machine Speakers are odd and secretive units, some prone to paranoia. Even so, the grievance they have against Steelvein must be smoothed over. As you have seen in the Forgegrounds, their quarrel with a single smuggler has put the entire city at risk. As Councilward, I will not stand for it. Let us go talk to Ardgrin's employee, Obstorn, and see if he can deliver a diplomatic message to his overseer in the Deeps. I will meet you in the tunnels.
