If you are like me waiting for him to spawn while still on the centaurion demolisher, dismount because he won't spawn when you are on the centaurion demolisher.

I see a lot of people just burning down the boss while he keeps healing. You have to interup and kill the little fire adds channeling at him so he doesn't heal endlessly

Way too hard to solo him .. when you down his healing adds he is already up at 100% again .. what a joke

More proof the current game designers are terrible..

Not listed as a group quest even though he's very hard to solo (dependent on your gear level and if you can kill his healing adds easy). Combine that with how dead this game is nowadays (again thanks to the terrible game designers) and good luck. Of course you can't finish the Assault until you do this quest.

One thing I will add is that you don't need to kill the adds to stop them from healing, if you can interrupt them somehow that's good enough.

Be sure to use Trueheart Spear on this mob to reduce his damage and health. Actually use that Spear on all of the sub-bosses for the Kyrian Assault.

First let me say: I @#$% hate this quest; it's tough elite mob that encourages group except it's not listed as a group quest, and it's worse if your server is empty or there isn't anybody around when you need to get this quest done asap. Absolutely terrible, shameful game design.

Now that that's out of my chest, let me add to how to solo beat as a low-geared/alt toon, hopefully this is helpful to somebody. Did it with a 179 frost mage.

-Around every 30% hp or so, he will summon an add that will gradually heal him back to full hp until the add is either interrupted or hard-CC or killed; the number of adds will increase by 1 every time he summons them, however he will not summon them again after passing those 30% hp thresholds the 1st time.
-Unless you can AoE burst, DO NOT nuke his hp down, or he then will summon a small army of adds that will quickly restore his hp to full.
-He periodically empowers his auto-attacks, which will decimate you unless you can mitigate them, either with consistent parry, defensive cds, remove the magic buff or spellsteal it
-The kyrian spears lying around are very useful for these elite mobs, as they will reduce their damage significantly for a min and reduce their hp by 30%; just be aware it will very likely spawn the adds, so don't use spears one after another. Use one spear and kill the add before using the next spear.
-He will channel an ability where he will be stationary and spew fire like a volcano. It's easy to dodge but it will mess a bit with your rotation if you're a non-hunter caster.

One of those rare quests that you won't see for months. Good luck seeing it for the achievement.
P.S. from 6 months later, still waiting for it; convinced that it no longer even appears but I'll keep checking every 2 weeks

Edit: It finally showed up! 8 months after I had everything else in Korthia done.
