As far as I can tell, these are targets used for DPS testing. There are level 60 and level 70 ones.

Does anyone know how much Armor these things have?

I wanted to use these to test the DPS difference between two pets on my hunter, a Wasp vs. a Cat.

When I tamed my Wasp, I noticed that they had lower health even though they were identical level as the cat and had an identical Talent build, and both are Ferocity pets. So I compared their other stats as well and found that they have identical stats except for HP, AP, SP, and Damage. This got me to wondering whether or not the Armor Debuff effect of the Wasp's Sting skill would be enough to justify using the Wasp rather than the Cat.

So I took my level 60 hunter and my level 60 Cat to one of these level 60 training dummies, got to just barely outside of melee range, and attacked. I used only Auto-shot and the pet's attack skills + Growl and made 200 shots against the dummies with each cat. I used the Violation addon to track DPS and compared the values gained from each pet.

The results seem to indicate that the Cat pet is superior, however, my hunter's DPS did not change as much as I expected it to from the one pet to the other, which got me wondering how much Armor they actually have. Because if they have particularly low Armor, then the Armor Debuff effect of the Wasp's Sting skill would not have had full effect and would therefore adversely affect the test. This would also cause issues for anyone trying to test the value of an Armor Penetration build or similar combat styles.

The odd thing is that these things can dodge, parry, and miss.
I mean they are just sitting non-living objects how could this be.

what use are these things ther just standing there and only strong dudes can attack them ...what about us small lvls huh us noobs that whant to swich weapons like my warlock

For some reason my younger mage cant seem to bring the health down. Level 61, just changed to frost and trying to get the spell rotations down. Anyone think it just might be a glitch, or does this only work for level 60s?

Based on my bloodthirst tooltip and DrDamage tweeking... I got ~40%

Which means these are not completely reliable.

Many times I have seen in guild chat "Someone duel me so I can try out my new spec and my uber high crit rate! please?" Its just so much easier to go slap one of these guys around. They dont really complain much and they spin if you get a crit (good for showing off, people dont have to read the combat log)

Different classes have different amounts of armor, so dueling can still be a better test.

Edit - The dummies takes 40% less physical damage. So if you wanted to test for PvP scenarios, this dummy would not be reliable.

I don't think these exist anymore... all I see in this area of Org are lvl 85 dummies and above :(

There are Level 60, 70, and 80 models on the upper levels of the Hall of the Brave in the Valley of Honor.

I finally found some lvl 60's & 80's in Org right where they are shown on the map, but they are on the second floor out on the balcony.
