They have a bad habit of running away when you come near them, they run faster than you so it's annoying having to chase them down,
eventually they leash back and reset while you're chasing them down since they've been feared so far away without your damage to keep them occupied.

They'll either fear themself or get all "im mad at u" and try to kill you, their damage will either be pathetic, or that of the nearby Scarlet Crusaders' damage.
Right outside Mayor Quimby's building is probably the best place the get them since there are so many in a small area.

Excellent droprate of mageweave cloth off these guys, and they're super easy kills. Wowhead lists it as 34%, but it seemed more to me.. was farming cloth for a low lvl tailor, got 4 stacks in a relatively short period of time.

As a nice bonus, I also got a lot of skulls that I turned in at the cauldron for Noth's Special Brew, then ran to the crypt to sell them for 2g50s per stack of 5. (Remember, these brews are unique, 20 - you can only have 20 at a time - so you do a bit of running back and forth... and make sure you save 20 brews to take with you when you leave!)

when I saw the guy with the firey broom I laughed.... it looks like he got fed up with all the rats in his house and bought beastslayer for his broom.. makes sense somehow

there are some with pitchforks.

as dreadblood said about rats, he wants to stab the rats.

PS: these guys are particularly annoying especially when they reset from fearing they run again (i remember just today this guy ran upstairs from the basement)

Broomfire Dude CAN ENRAGE and sometimes the damage he does is bonkers. If anyone tells you he only fears, they're wr0ng. He almost kicked my nuts in the first time I saw him--combination of him enraging and me laughing my ass off too hard to fight back properly.
