As of 9.1.5, Fangcaller Xorreth can summon 1 of 3 colored serpents:

- Green
- Yellow
- Red (used to be Vulpera only)

At level 60 with 213 ilevel I was able to just stand there while he hit me and I didn't lose much health. All you have to do to get different colors is run up to him, let him attack you until he cast Call of the Fang, see what color he summoned, Feign Death if it's not the one you want, then rinse and repeat until the color you're after is up.

This random daily is the only way to get these three colored cobras (outside of rolling a vulpera for a red one) making them a pretty rare pet.

While this beast currently has a Green Cobra model, it will receive a unique Red Cobra model in Patch 9.1.

While this Red Cobra model is not new to the game, it is new to hunters that are not Vulpera. This is because the only beast prior to this update to have this unique model was the Crimson Cobra which is the starting pet for Vulpera Hunters.

Petopia Note: A pair of these cobras are summoned during combat with Fangcaller Xorreth, who is only present on days when his world quest, Fangcaller Xorreth, is active. You may have to kill (or feign death and reset) him more than once before your desired model appears as he will still summon the Green Cobra model as well.

The current Green Cobra beast model matches the Spawn of Merektha battle pet.
