Zan was added to the Rogue class hall in 7.2.

If the mount tab and PTR are correct and remain as such, he will be the vendor that sells the color variations for their class mount, , for 10,000 Order Resources a piece.

Sells the specification variant rogue class mounts for 1000 order resources. You need to earn the 'base' Shadowblade's Murderous Omen, and then unlock all artifact traits on the relevant artifiact to purchase the variations:

Outlaw: Bloody reins of dark portent
Subtlety: Midnight black reins of dark portent
Assassination: Mephitic reins of dark portent

This NPC sells 3 colour variations of the Rogue Class mount; this brings the total number of tints available to 4 (1 from the quest, 3 available for purchase).

To purchase the 3 alternate tints from Zan Shivsproket, you need to meet the following requirements:

Unlock all of the traits on the appropriate Artifact Weapon for each corresponding tint (as per the chart below). This means you need to have 52 traits or more unlocked.
You need to be in the appropriate spec to purchase the mount even if you have met the above requirement; thus, you will have to switch to all 3 specs in front of the vendor to pick up all 3 mounts.

Further Notes:

The base mount is available to ALL specs, by completing the introductory Broken Shore questline, completing all steps of the achievement Breaching the Tomb, then completing the short questline starting with Dread Infiltrators on the Broken Shore.
The 3 tints, one for each spec, are available by completing Power Ascended by reaching 52 traits on each appropriate weapon.
Each of the 4 mounts counts as a unique one in your mount collection.
Despite the fact that each tint sold by Zan Shivsproket requires progression on a specific weapon, once purchased and learned, your Rogue can use ANY of the four tints at will, regardless of current spec.
Rogue alts, even lower level ones, can use any of the tints that you unlock on one Rogue.

As of 8.0, you no longer need to change specs to buy the recolors.

He is located in the hall of shadows in the same room as Valeera and Taoshi.

As 8.3 you don't need anything special to get the mounts, just the base mount and 1000 order resources each mount.

As of 9.1.5, you only need to completed this on ONE toon. This is now an account wide achievement.

This is just for rogues? Because my addon is telling me that I can get the mount but I"m a mage. Any chance I can still get it?
