Its location isn't known yet but i also found that the item called Heart of Corruption is a reward of the quest "Walking in Shadows" which atm can only be found here: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/139566

Although the eye thing very similiar to C'thun, the fight is very similiar to Yogg Saron encounter.

Whispers remind me Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. This tree no doubt corrupt by one of the old gods. Hard to tell which one. Broken isles very close to both Northrend and Vashj'ir. Northrend where Yogg Saron is and Vashj'ir is the place most people think N'zoth burried. At the other hand Il'gynoth is in Emerald Nightmare corrupted Un'goro Crater which is very very close to C'thun and Ahn'Qiraj.

The mostly common knowledge Emerald Nightmare created by Yogg Saron.

There are no demons or BL related mobs inside the instance except Xavius which i not sure anymore if he is working for Sargeras.

The "Boy-king" might be Wrathion. Think about it, he's the one who released Garrosh into Draenor and made us all travel back in time (and brought Gul'dan with us)

So here's my analysis of the whispers. Feel free to give me your thoughts and expand upon anything. The biggest theme to get out of this is that Sargeras might not be the only danger waiting.

"The King of Diamonds has been made a pawn."
This one is pretty self explanatory. Referring to Magni Bronzebeard and how he's been turned to diamonds. He said that he's spoken with 'Azeroth' who he confirms to be a being, not just a planet we current live on. So it makes sense to believe that Magni has been turned into a 'servant' or pawn of Azeroth, who has the possibility of being malevolent later on.

"Flesh is his gift. He is your true creator."
Most likely it is referring to the Curse of Flesh. Now 'He' is ambiguous, but it most definitely is referring to an Old God and not a Titan as they are the ones who spread the curse. There's two assumptions here. First is N'Zoth who we've barely seen and would make the most sense. Xavius was his pawn, he made the Naga, and of course the Emerald Nightmare. My second assumption is more of a daring one. It's possible that Azeroth is not in fact a titan like Magni claims, but an Old God who could've spread the curse. My only reason for this is the previous quote which calls Magni a 'pawn', meaning he's most likely either unwittingly being manipulated or he's lying to us. Of course, pure speculation at this point.

"From the earth, he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength."
I believe this line cements my second point above. 'He' is ambiguous here, but if we believe that the 'earth' is his strength, then what better candidate would it be than the entire planet? Azeroth seems to be referenced once more.

"Its surface blazes light, masking shadow below."
Like the above whisper, I believe it's another hint that Azeroth is a malevolent being, if not an old god. The 'surface' refers to the races of Azeroth. Horde and Alliance alike, fighting against the Legion. They act as the 'light' or 'good', compared to the 'shadow' below, that being the very ground we walk on. At the heart of the world, an evil being rests.

"Five keys to open our way. Five torches light our path."
Five is a big ambiguous as well and is a common number, but looking at the previous quotes my best guess would be the five Pillars of Creation. We've been collecting them in one convenient spot for them to do something later on. The story line is that they'll work together to close the tomb of Sargeras, but what if it's a ploy? Il'gynoth refers to it as 'our' path and 'our' way. What if they're keys to unlocking some sort of greater power? Such as a N'Zoth or possibly Azeroth as conjectured?

"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming."
Not that ambiguous. Sylvanas is the most major lore character who fits the bill. She's died once to become the Banshee Queen and died a second time when she hurled herself off of the top of ICC. Will Sylvanas die in this expansion? Will that usher in some kind of event, possibly related to Azeroth above?
Edit: Someone above mentioned how Sylvanas has died 'three times', but I'm willing to bet this is more of an oversight/push aside of the minor Godfrey encounter. Azeroth was also mentioned with the Sundering and the Catalysm, but at all points Azeroth has been referenced by 'He'. Il'gnyoth seems consistent with everything else, though it's possible since I believe Magni refers to Azeroth as a female titan. Perhaps the 'he' is referring to N'Zoth all along?

"Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it."
This line isn't clear cut, but just assuming by the usage of 'her' it is referring to whoever is referenced in the first prediction, that being Sylvanas. We know that she is going through massive amounts of internal turmoil between the death and extinction of her people as well as the eternal Hell that awaits her if she dies. My best assumption is that some sort of corruption has taken hold of Sylvanas and she will do something devastating that will call forth Azeroth.
Edit: If taking the above edit into consideration, it's possible that the 'crater' is more physical than metaphorical. Perhaps it is the actual center of Azeroth the planet he is referring to by 'Her'.

The final whispers are the ones that confuse me. Perhaps it is predictions of things that haven't happened yet or I have merely missed it. Boy-king can refer to two different candidates: Anduin Wrynn and Wrathion. Both royalty, both youths, though really only Wrathion could be considered a plotter. He briefly showed up in WoD and wasn't heard from again after he left Admiral Taylor's garrison. However, the lies part baffles me. Are they on purpose? By accident? How could they possibly relate to the rest of the predictions?

"To find him, drown yourself in the Circle of Stars."
'Him' has been referred to several times throughout these whispers and each time it has presumably referred to an Old God. Even Magni was not referred to by a pronoun. So I believe that this must refer to finding an Old God, again my guess would be Azeroth, although we cannot count out N'Zoth. The Star motif is all over Suramar City, so the 'Circle of Stars' most likely is a location somewhere within. Perhaps in the Nighthold? Within the last Pillar of Creation has been held (The Eye of Aman'thul) and of course the 'Nightwell' must, to it's name, be some sort of well. Is it a prediction that the Nightwell will lead to an Old God? An extra boss or hidden boss like in Throne of Thunder? Or perhaps something more sinister?

"The Lord of Ravens will turn the key."
This one is a bit of a stretch but I think I've figured it out. The 'Lord of Ravens' most likely references Medivh due to his connection with the bird. His staff has one, he can turn into one, his hearthstone loading animation has a bunch of them flock in, and of course Karazhan comes out very soon. 'Key' is referenced early. The five Pillars of Creation. Of course his apprentice Khadgar also presides over 4 out of the 5 of them now. Will Medivh come back and use them somehow to screw us once again? Perhaps once we get the final one from the Nighthold?
If not, maybe Blizzard has some sort of plans with Anzu? Or how about the Raven Lord from Heroes of the Storm? Maybe an allusion to the Ravencrests?

That summarizes my analysis of his whispers. Some I am more certain about than others, but ultimately this is all for prediction and fun. Let me know what you think!

I don't think the part about Magni being a pawn means that Azeroth is evil, just that he is now a servant instead of a leader.

I am fairly certain that the 'He' is one of the old gods, most likely N'zoth, since when Il'gynoth dies he says 'N'zoth... I journey... to Ny'alotha.' so it obviously has connection with N'zoth.

I believe the from the earth he draws strength part is referring to Wrathion, as black dragons are the earth warders, and old gods were imprisoned under the earth and used this connection to corrupt Deathwing.

The its surface blazes light I think is actually referring to the Naaru who are beings of light but can transform to void gods.

The her heart is a crater part I think is referring to Azeroth, and more specifically the well of eternity/maelstrom which is supposedly where N'zoth is.

The boy-king part I agree refers to Wrathion, he did even tell us to not trust him during MoP.

In addition to the ones you listed, the lord of ravens could also be Odyn, who has ravens serving him as shown throughout the stormheim questline.

My interpetations:

This seems to refer to Illidan Stormrage, his soul is supposedly lost in the Twisting Nether. drowning in a circle of stars is sort of like floating in space right?

Lord of Ravens has to be Medivh, the Guardian. Him turning the key seems to imply he will trigger a chain of events.

Boy-King could either be Wrathion or Anduin Wrynn. Wrathion is probably the more dubious of the two and as such it would make more sense this refers to him, we've also not heard from him in a while. Master could only refer to N'zoth, as he corrupted the Emerald Dream and as such is the master of the Heart of Corruption. N'zoth also corrupted Deathwing, Wrathion is the son of Deathwing. Could it be that Wrathion is not actually un-corrupted? The Three Lies seem to have not been offered yet.

This has to refer to Magni Bronzebeard who in his hubris recited a chant and turned himself to diamound. Either that, or a very clever wordplay refering to someone else.

Can only be speaking of Yogg-Saron, who corrupted the Engine of the Makers in Northrend, inflicting it with the Curse of Flesh to spawn most of Azeroth's organic sentient lifeforms.

People have suggested this could mean Sylvanas (who already died 3 times) or Azeroth (which was sundered twice), but I personally think this is refering to Jaina Proudmoore, who you can say "Died" twice. Once when Theramore was bombed, and another when she was betrayed by the Kirin Tor. Those were her two main breaking points in MoP. The third could cause her to lose it and fall to corruption, I guess.

This is also Jaina Proudmoore, as Theramore is now a crater, and it broke Jaina's heart. It is possible the Old Gods are using this to manipulate her.

This quote is either Thrall or Wrathion, both have a power over the earth. The Old Gods are burrowed deep into Azeroth's earth, so I guess they have claimed it as their own.

This may also refer to the sleeping titan who is in fact Azeroth - he draws his strength from Azeroth like a womb. The Old Gods' purpose is to corrupt this titan into their will.

"Its surface blazes light, masking shadow below."

I think this is refering to the Light's Heart, or the Naaru Xe'ra. It seems that some Warlock Class Hall npcs call Xe'ra evil. That may be foreshadowing. The big word here is 'Its', no gender pronoun. Which is what makes me think it is refering to a Naaru.

His death quote is "N'Zoth... I journey... to Ny'alotha"

He is very likely to be connected to N'Zoth. I believe Ny'alotha is a metaphor for death or void used by the old gods since as immortal beings, the concept of death is alien to them.

This actually made me think of the sunken city of Gnomes afar from Tanaris. Because that city is near the compass rose on the map and with some imagination it's a star and a circle. They do like to bring up things that they have added ages ago but maybe we can find something on a compass rose spot in one of the maps in the Broken Isles?

That said, he doesn't quite make clear who he means with "him" - so this one is hard to answer.

This is very likely refering to the pillars of creation. But maybe this will be a mechanic to unlock a path in a future dungeon? There are 5 stones in Karazhan dungeon which are related to Medivh appearing, but they don't seem to serve a function outside of Medivh saying "Hey I used these to come back". Maybe we should look in the Nighthold for something.

"The Lord of Ravens will turn the key."

I agree with most people here. This is probably Medivh and possibly related to the Karazhan dungeon.

I do think this is refering to Anduin. However, I think Master in this case refers to someone who is sort of a Master to Anduin. That could be High Priest Rohan, but it could also be Bolvar who was leading Stormwind for a time when Anduin was briefly crowned king during Varian's disappearance. We don't know yet what the three lies refer to, whether it is something Anduin or that "master" is.

This is obviously Magni. I agree with everyone here.

Also has been explained to be Yogg-Saron. Praise Yogg!

I like the explanation that this is refering to Jaina, but it could also be Sylvanas. Both have plausible explanations to be that and have been turning darker in the past. Sylvanas plan to "save" her Forsaken with the Val'kyr in Stormheim was foiled by Greymane and I think she'd be very suspectible to an offer to save her people. But Jaina lost both Rho'nin and Arthas so she might seek revenge to those who took them from her. There is room for interpretation and I think this was made quite intentionally by Blizz.

Jaina and Theramore could fit this bill, maybe the Old Gods sway her by "rebuilding" Theramore. It could also refer to the World Soul of Azeroth and the Maelstorm but that's probably a long shot.

I feel this refers to one of the world trees and this could be an explanation why the Nightmare can spill over into the real world. Maybe they plan to make the regrowing Nordrassil to be corrupted from within with the Nightmare. Maybe the Well of Eternity might be the reason for this.

This is to me refering to the Burning Legion. The Old Gods aren't fools and they have noticed the demons. They are a perfect decoy to make people forget that the Old Gods below Azeroth are a threat. Since they are immortal, they have no problem just waiting that one out while gathering power, influence, resources and followers. Maybe N'Zoth even found a way to corrupt demons with his power and make portions of the legion work for himself.

My ~~quick~~ thoughts on some of those quotes:

"From the earth, he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength."
This may be related to any important legion-related character - Gul'dan, for example - or even to N'Zoth. N'Zoth has been imprisoned for a while now, being the "weakest Old God" and the only one still present in Azeroth to our knowledge. He's probably deep underwater, in a monolothic prison, probably gathering power so that he can break free. He's also probably somewhere south of Suramar, which brings us to this:

"To find him, drown yourself in the Circle of Stars."
Suramar is a circular city. It's people, the Nightborne, are heavy users of Arcane magic, and their culture mentions the stars frequently. If you look up while in Suramar, you'll also see some sort of crack in the sky, with stars all around it, which is probably an anomaly of unknown source.

In World of Warcraft: Chronicles book, you can see that N'Zoth's prison was located, before The Sundering, not too far from Suramar. That means N'Zoth can probably be under Suramar - if not, too close to it - at this very moment, gathering whatever power leaks from the conflicts within.

Now, about conflicts...

"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming."
Elisande, Nightborne's Grand Magistrix, is known to be the penultimate fight in the Nighthold Raid. During the fight, she'll use the Nightwell - the source of all Nightborne magic, fed by the Eye of Aman'thul - to distort time itself. She'll use Time Stop to send her enemies back in time twice during the fight, being unable to use it a third time.

I'm not sure of this, but that might be what we're talking about here. At the hour of her third death. Elisande may or may not use that skill only after falling to low health/almost dying, meaning she may die three times; In the third, for good. All the power leaked from the fight, not only from her, but also from the Nightwell and Gul'dan after that, may be enough to free N'Zoth of it's prison, giving us a new plot to worry about in the patches to come.

Now, really, she's being vilified since Theramore's Fall. All that rancor, all that hatred... All that thirst for revenge. She's really getting into her darkside.

Dark relates to shadow, shadow relates to void, void relates to evil beings which, among them, we have the Old Gods.

That's pretty much all I can think when it comes to Il'gynoth's quotes. I may be out of my mind with all that Suramar conspiracy, but...

Really, it makes sense.

In the area leading up to Il'gynoth, you can find three colors of Corrupted Power Crystals, reflections of the ones you'd find in the actual Ungoro Crater, that can be interacted with. From what I have observed:

Red crystals will kill you instantly.
Yellow crystals will apply a fear, alongside a rather painful DoT.
Green crystals, however, will turn you into a faceless one for one minute... and allow you to attack your fellow raid members during that time.

And yes, these crystals are present on LFR. Do with this information what you will.

I want to dig a little deeper on the "Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it."
To me, it seems most plausible that this would be Jaina. Ever since Theramore got destroyed she has been on the war path, which if we learned anything at all from the Pandaria expansion, is just asking for getting corrupted by the Old Gods. "Her heart is a crater", this refers to Jaina in a two-fold sense. Firstly and most obviously, there is Theramore as I mentioned. However, there is also the original Dalaran crater in Silverpine, which has become a major hub of dead bodies in Legion (as you fall to your death if you are not prepared). It seems strange that Kirin Tor mages capable of making portals to all over the world(s) would just so happen to make a portal that kills a large percentage of individuals on their way to pick up legendaries that almost exclusively deal with Old God related power. Could it be possible that this portal is actually the evidence of Jaina serving her new Old God masters? I think yes, and that perhaps Khadgars rush to gather the Pillars of Creation (against Alodi's warning), could potentially be just the opening that a now corrupted Jaina has been waiting for.

Il'gynoth is practically a seed of Yogg-Saron, having been planted in the Emerald Dream to Corrupt it. Likely, he's calling out to N'Zoth because he's the old god who remains uncontested.

Still up for debate, and I have nothing to add that current theories don't already cover, but my money is still on it being N'Zoth, though the Circle of Stars location is up for debate and likely a vague allusion to something rather than a particular place.

Pillars of Creation. It has to be, unless these five keys are something we've yet to be exposed to in lore or in game, or is yet again, a vague riddle comprised from a romp through a thesaurus. Everyone should be aware of the fact that a lot of these lines seem to point to the fact that the Old Gods are manipulating 'players' across the board, and Khadgar, Vol'jin, Jaina, and Sylvanas are all susceptible to it.

"The Lord of Ravens will turn the key."

Either Medivh or Khadgar, since Khadgar inherited Medivh's place, and Medivh doesn't exactly exist on the physical plane.

Either referential of the obvious, which is Anduin, or something a little more subtle like Wrathion, who is a self-proclaimed prince. Both are young enough to be considered boys, and it would be a lot easier to place a 'master' of dubious intent for Wrathion than a do-good-er like Anduin. Unless, of course, he were unaware of the lies.

If we're going by just main lore characters, it's likely sledgehammer subtlety regarding Sylvanas. She's been reborn once into Arthas' army, committed suicide post Arthas' death, and has been near death instances after. She will probably run out of Valkyr, and when she does, it will be her third death.

Jaina, no doubt in my mind. There is a literal allusion to the crater of Theramore in this line. It doesn't get more obvious than this. Old God influence is a cop out for her behavior, but it's an easy device for explaining it, and implies that her actions are entirely puppeteered by the Old Gods at this point.

I see the world tree theories on this, but wouldn't it make sense for the formerly inherited 'Aspect of Earth' Wrathion? He's 'uncorrupted', as he states repeatedly, but it's not like the old gods within the world can suddenly be overlooked. Granted, aspects don't exactly work the same way, but he is still an earth based dragon, the only -as far as he is concerned- earth dragon. He's only growing stronger, and he's got big plans. It makes sense that he would be piloting this grand crusade against the legion, since the Old Gods love the distraction the Legion is for them. Afterall, the Legion's greatest enemy, is the Void (Old Gods).

Another reference to the Legion, as I just mentioned. The Old Gods are below the surface of the world, and the legion is all talk and felfire. Old God approach is faint and understated. Legion approach is bombastic. While we're picking fleas from our hair, we're unaware of the worms in our belly, and we know which can be the real killer.

I would love to know who this is in reference to, or if it's simply Il'gynoth's final attempts at manipulating your actions, just like an Old God should.

from what ive found out n'zoth is an underwater guy so "drowning" would make sense to finding him, as for the circle of stars im going to guess thats something we'll find in the xpac with mr NZ

The 5 world pillars (recall that the world pillars are artifacts used to stabilize and terraform Azeroth/seal the old gods, we've been using them for other purposes dangerously, a bit confused on the Xe'ra core play in here tho... was she a sixth pillar? What were the titans doing with a shard of Xe'ra? I smell time shenanigans or I miscounted one)

"The Lord of Ravens will turn the key." Two possibilities here, this is either referencing Sylvanas/Alerria as the key and refers to Greymane (Gilneas being Ravens, an allude to the lord of ravenholdt seems unlikely), or this references Mediev or much more likely Kgad'gar because technically since the karazhan update he has officially inherited Mediev and the staff of the guardian represents being the Lord of Ravens here, but this could be hunting at mediev's return! Khad'gar is well known to make dubious decisions so him turning the key however is extremely likely, woo go dadgar! Gets hotter every minute of lore advancement!
"The boy-king serves at the master's table. Three lies will he offer you." Definitely and obviously.... Wrathion, tho possibly Anduin, Wrathion is more likely since he is...8 years old and extrodinarily young for a dragon flight king, However anduin is a priest... a discipline priest no less so he is already half in the shadow so serving at the masters table (just a lowly waiter) makes some sense, he's been through a lot and had some heavy influence by the old gods repeatedly in pandaria. LOTS of hearthstone hints he will be a shadow priest eventually as well. This is the most desirable of the two characters this could reference (wrathion seems so unimportant)
"The King of Diamonds has been made a pawn." Nzoth has been intercepting Azeroth' communications and tainting them, making magni into an unwitting pawn (recall to be corrupted directly one must be tainted by the curse of flesh, Azeroth remade magni to avoid this). This seems unlikely unless Azeroth has been 'silenced' already. More likely Azeroth has some ulterior motives much like Xe'ra and things don't bode well for the fleshlings.
"Flesh is his gift. He is your true creator." Confirmation that N'Zoth was the one responsible for the curse of flesh that gave the denizens of Azeroth their emotions and free will, directly resulting in the evolution of the races players play, except orcs and drenai #flatWAT
"At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming." almost assuredly Sylvanas for obvious lore reasons but ONLY if the Lord of Ravens that turns the key is Greymane!
"Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it." 100% Sylvanas if the previous statement is true (Azeroth has only 'almost' died twice, but they could be being ambiguous about what 'death' they are referencing(character death for instance)to), this also lines up perfectly with Varamathis lines in a later patch.
"From the earth, he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength." This is referring almost assuredly to Thrall but it COULD be referring to wrathion but only if then wrathion is the 'boy king' most whisper so now have referenced one person twice.
"Its surface blazes light, masking shadow below." Its is an unusually pronoun out of all that has been said so far, so this Is pointing to it NOT being Azeroth, or Elune. Almost assuredly referencing the naaruasince they are 100% genderless beings that don't use pronouns, this is very likely given the conversion revealed by a certain nasty in 7.3 that nasty can go dark via other means than their natural life cycle (like via insanity from being thought blocked from the light or from isolation). 99% sure this is reference to a or the naaru.

The Circle of Stars--everyone is thinking Suramar.

It's not in Suramar. It's not even really on the planet, but it's a place we've all been to.

It hit me when I was reading this boss' words and comparing them to Ogmot's Dream Journal. Ogmot is an ogre in the Twilight's Hammer. He's a tough little rare spawn in the new and improved Silithus and he drops a book. He mentions in his journal he hasn't drowned in a long time.

There is one place that has a circle of stars, which has a strong Twilight's Hammer and Old God connection, which you have to "drown" to get to.

You have to "drown" into the Maelstrom to get to Deepholm. And if you look at the very center of the "sky" dome there...

you see a circle of stars.

With tentacles...

Easily solo'd as an ilvl 444 fury warrior on mythic. Just kill the mobs that spawn and drag the ichor to the eye. Killed him in one eye phase.

When I did this solo I had to kill Bo'lan the Marked to open the portal back to Malfurion.
