Randomized? Blizz has shown time and time again that they are incapable of making a randomized system that actually works correctly. I can't wait to buy 4 shoulder slot items and get the same shoulders 4 times in a row.This is gonna fail and get updated to set pieces pretty quickly I would guess.
This is honestly even worse. It is bad enough that Renown vendors have insane prices for Voidlight Marl on everything they sell - but to add even more things that cost Voidlight Marl, especially something you'll potentially need to buy dozens of times per slot to complete just one set, makes that even more painful. I'd be okay with it if they added more sources for Voidlight Marl, but as it is, this currency is even more painful to farm than TWW's Resonance Crystals.
This is a great change, but I still wish there wasn't an RNG factor tied to them.

How is this better? I'm fine with randomization, but make it by class instead of armor slot. This is so punishing to people who don't want to collect every set. I hope they plan on increasing Marl drops too if this sticks.
Field accolades is fine and this is a nice change, but please, my voidlight marl. It is too precious to be a gamble currency. You don't know how many curtains I still need to buy.
they need to increase the voidlight mari rate from wq weekly etc at least 10-15k per week

Excuse me?Back in the day, tabards cost 10 gold or were earned through quests and story progression. Now I’m expected to pay 3k Voidlight Marls for each color variation. And that’s on top of mounts, pets, toys, and decor all competing for the same currency.I already paid the original, inflated prices, dumped 2.5k marls into each first decor from this expansion, and never saw a refund after the price adjustment. And now this? It honestly feels like a slap in the face.This is getting ridiculous. I’m not about to throw away hard-earned currency on a gamble for cosmetics I might never even get, especially with how unreliable RNG has been with systems like the Vault.I really hope they reconsider this before release. Just make each piece of gear directly purchasable; something like 5 accolades per item would be far more reasonable.
How do they make everything literally worse? Its randomized it cost over 21k marl to unlock every armour.... armour that you cant use on other classes might... its literally the worst. Like they want to make artifical engagement again cuz the season was easy as hell... and instead putting engaging content in the game that is fun we have literal lootboxes that cannibalize my void marl that i use to buy decorations and mounts. Why cant that crap just cost gold or something?
What does tier 2 void armor mean exactly? Is it purely a transmog / cosmetic thing or actual usable loot?
