Taliesin and Evitel

World of Warcraft; Battle for Azeroth patch 8.1.5 continues to unlock as we build to the release of the Crucible of Storms mini-raid, but thoughts are turning to the patch 8.2 release date and what might be the most important patch in recent WoW history. Will it be good enough to "save" BfA? Will Nazjatar have the varied world events and new content that is promised? How will the bodyguard system work? Will Azshara's Eternal Palace be the raid to bring players back? Will flying be unlocked across Mechagon and Nazjatar as well as Kul Tiras and Znadalar? Will the continuing war campaign do justice to its characters? Will the new heart of Azeroth Azerite system fix the problems Azerite armor introduced? And why does the new Jaina statue have such a weird face? All this and some talk about WoW Classic and the MDI too in the new Weekly Reset. Knowledge is power.

Love these guys. A little too much on the Jaina statue, but whatever. Thanks for the reminder of all that's coming in 8.2. Especially FLYING!

Comment by Pineapplemoon

At first I liked the statue face, but the more I look at it, the more I realize how bad it is.

I don't love how Jaina's face seems to look on that statue, but I still think it might look fine if you've not got it lit up as bright as possible the camera zoomed in as close as possible. All in all I'll allow it.

It's funny 'cause I have all these opinions like I ever had a hope in hell of actually buying the statue.

Not a thing Id ever buy, but the commentary was hilarious and I can't say I disagree. Love their intro skits!

It's a hard listen when that dude just endlessly talks over her.

My 8.2 Speculation?
June 2019, the 28th May speculation makes sense. Patch 8.2 will feature some sort of event related to Classic WOW, which will probably release in either June or July. That's my speculation. But, if May 28th is Real, then we'll see it on PTR not later than May 1st.

Some sort of free trial event is not excluded - I know that just happened. And probably won't happen during day one of WOW Classic. But, didn't they say "some form of sharding during the first weeks"? If it was just so split up the crowd on day one, then it would be safe to turn it off on day 4. Maybe, on the 2nd or 3rd week, the free trial players will come, and remain there for the 4th week, and after it they will turn off sharding permanently?

i think jaina's face on that statue looks sexy as hell. she looks sassy and bony and i like that in a woman.
