Hoping this is a hint at Dragonriding continuing in further xpacs, that would be so awesome. I love flying on my Dragon <3
How is Dragonflying different from playing the game for people with various type of disabilities? Doesn't doing dungeons/raids also require a semi-fast pace of button pressing, same as dragonflight?Im all for removing old flying completely, it seems to be mostly a thing for bots, it feels like swimming rather than flying and dragonflying is a much more accurate take on flying. Also flight paths is still a thing for people that cannot accurately handle dragonflying?
My prediction is 10.2 or 10.3 they will open it upTo the whole world.
I, personally, don't enjoy Dragonriding full-time in the Dragon Isles.I see a place for it, don't get me wrong. I do enjoy the courses and races in DF. They remind me of the Speedways in Spyro the Dragon!I'm not as attached to this expansion as I have been with previous ones because I'm flying around at such a speed, I don't have the time to actually enjoy the new world that has been created. I'm not invested in it because I haven't had the time to explore the scenery from the air at my own pace like I could before.I'm either looking at a large area from a distance, usually some tower or mountain, or trudging around under the trees.I have no real connection to the Dragon Isles because I have no idea what environmental nuances are between one place and another, I can't get any bearings on landmarks because I'm whizzing past them at break-neck speed and just following the in-game pointer to make sure I don't overshoot my destination.I want to enjoy DF, but in my own time and in my own way. I can't do that with Dragonriding and that's a little disappointing...
I will never use Dragon flying in old worlds i hate it with a passion beside the fact i get some motion sickness from it ,its not designed for what i do in game which is herb and ore node gather its designed for long distance travel not short hops . How about we get old world flying in dragon lands and let ppl decide which they want to use . If i take an extra minute to get to a quest area it dont hurt any one but me
I agree. My Druid now all of a sudden can't shapeshift into a bird and fly when there are freaking birds flying all over the island? Did I hit my head on the boat trip over or something? While I like Dragonriding for the most part, the way they forced everyone into it is ridiculous.
