was balanced, like all things should be.
Oh how i'll miss Wandering pulsar and the heartrate increase ability targeted at healers.
Much needed nerfs, but I doubt this is enough...
I can't fathom how Blizzard even let this thing make its way out of 9.2 PTR. When you have to do tuning passes that adjust things in the magnitudes of 50% you know you didn't even test the original or listened to any of the actual player feedback. 90% of the changes that came in 9.2 in all aspects of the game should've been here on November 17th 2020 and many players who still care about this game have called for them long before Blizz caved in to implement them.
What is even the point of having a PTR when you don't use it for actually testing? Is retail the new PTR?
People really don't understand how testing works.First, the people who actually play on the PTR represent a small fraction of the whole playerbase. So a small group of players.Second, only a fraction of that fraction actually does something else on PTR other than hitting dummies. Even smaller group of players.Third, that even smaller fraction is then divided between people doing M+ (sometimes with 0 affix, because you can on PTR), and those doing raids.Fourth, and finally, most people on PTR doing the testing in M+ had 4 set bonus + double legendary. The fact that such a small population of players + the tools they had at their disposal mean that there will ALWAYS be further tuning and bug fixing once stuff gets to live servers. There are problems that will show up ONLY when you have thousands of runs done by players on live. This allows to gather data that you simply can't get with smaller groups of players, like on PTR.

Nothing at the launch of 9.0 were nerfed at such a rapid, frequent, and drastic pace even when NW and SD were famously difficult at launch. Of course further tuning on live servers are needed, it has always been part of WoW since Vanilla, but tunings of this magnitude as soon as people actually tried to play it is exceptionally rare and screams utterly untested. Don't use tier sets and double legendary as an excuse. The other 8 dungeons were perfectly timeable at +15 for those who had S2 KSM and at least ilvl245 on day 1 of S3.Stop being an apologist for those who no longer deserve any. You are prolonging the misery that has plagued this game for years which has drained the playerbase dry.
Most people on PTR run giga ilvl gear. They run +15s then spend time looking at damage meters.Players aren’t testing low level gear, or low keys, they are focusing on themselves, simming what setup blasts the most.Props to those that actually test a wide range of content productively.Live provides info on lower gear runners. Does Blizzard test mythic plus dungeons using low gear range, and every key level, from 0 to 15? I assume they do this. Maybe they knew this needed more analysis to tune, and their resources were spent on fixing bigger bugs and this ‘working’ dungeon was lower on the list. Either way, live and learn. It’s actually been fixed/nerfed pretty fast, so not much to complain over imo! There’s so much complaint clutter. Let’s drop the small stuff so the big stuff has more focus.
Glad to see the nerfs, but the murlocs not need dmg nerf, they need to do something with their fear, its absurd, they can pull ALL THE WHOLE TORMENHEIN in 1 sec if you let 1 of them running out. Of course, every single murlocs runs, and they run in every direction....Also having 8-16 murlocs per pull dont help xddd
Streets timer needs adjusted it's so tight
This happens pretty much every expansion with any dungeon that's released in later patches or one of those "mega" dungeons when split into two for M keys. Heck in Legion I nicknamed Cathedral of Eternal Night "Cathedral of Eternal Nerfs".When they release these dungeons half way through expansion, they want to make sure the difficulty is on par with the current gear players have. But of course when it's converted into M+ keys with "scaling", that's when things ALWAYS get out of control and they have to nerf/adjust/remove mobs abilities. Nothing new to see here!
It's not the player's job to test tuning in the first place and it's certainly not the point of PTR. People really get more and more desperate trying to defend Blizzard for their bad work.
