Just delete covenant abilities and make the soul binds a copy/paste between different covenants but with different names.

Instead of wasting developer time on balancing covenant abilities and soulbinds, they could have created epic questlines for each of the soulbind characters.

How about....no. if I wanted to read a story book, I'd do that lol

"Let's get timhounsell's opinion on the matter" - no one, ever

Coventant abilities are easy to tune if you strip away the whole soulbind system. It's just 1 ability per class on 4 different covenants

The most elegant and smart choice about Soulbind would have been:

- Make every soulbind traits a QoL improvement only (ie: mount speed, ooc regen, durability enhance and so on)
- Give to all conduit the side effect to upgrade the visual FX of the affected spell to be a more covenant themed spell/buff/debuff (Glyph like enhance)

Remind me what the RPG part of MMORPG means?
