I was raid leading once and there was this guy who was cool and chill but wasnt putting too much effort and I remember I yelled at him for messing up with a basic mechanic. He simply said sorry man my bad.Moving on, after we RO, I learned from another guildy that his baby boy died 2 months ago and he just wanted to play wow to make him forget it for some hours. I felt so ashamed and stupid. We forget that real people with real problems are in the game, we should be more respectful.
For those talking about "Where's religion or faith?" "Hate speech, including negative comments that target another player's identity, including aspects like race, gender, or ability"It's right there.
So if I generally do not accept peeps from Rag because they bail, and their ping is super @#$%ing high,
I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS
I have to comment again, sorry. I AM REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THIS. I ALMOST CAN'T BELIEVE IT.
Don't forget there Is even add-ons to avoid players of certains servers (don't ask, I'm NOT gonna say it because I'm a victim of that add-on discrimination :c on top of what i already have for being latino and non-straight irl), but if the community reached that point then we have REAL problems that bots-mods can't Solve an we need real peoples looking and monitoringalso don't forget If this Is enforced by real mods i can see a gazillon of Karens interpreting all the open parts at they ways, i worked in Retail and i know that hell :c
I think this is just making these guidelines more visible, isn't it? Isn't this sort of stuff already in the ToS?Either way, this stuff was already actionable anyway. It's not really going to change anything unless the rules are actually enforced, as always.
nothing will be enforced. looked at the wow community lately? it's just about the most vile, hateful online community out there, barring places like 4chan. if they ban everyone that calls someone else a slur if they make an irrelevant mistake, they won't have any players left.
Seriously all the premium users being mad that people don’t like being told twice. You pay to not have ads yet you’re still annoyed by comments of differing opinions.
I think Lost Ark had something similar irrc? This is a good thing, even if most people will gloss over it and just click yes.
What happened to good ole fashioned gkicks and ignore? This whole contract thing is just more hypocrisy. You want to treat people fairly and respectfully? Start doing it yourself. Get up off the floor and stop having cube crawls, drunk parties and Cosby rooms. Some 17 year old at the keyboard didn’t do that, you (Blizzard) did.We (the player base) didn’t do this. We watched you create and prop up toxic environments ingame and we had no idea just how small that was as compared to the garbage you hid behind closed doors. Now you want to go all Woke Holy and start sewing red “A”s to profess your purity?Stop telling me I have to agree to a behavior clause that you yourself crap all over.Tell me, if you sold a six month sub to somebody and then implement this agreement past contractual sale, do you intend to wait until their sub is up or open yourself for a class action lawsuit lest you refund their money? You better start thinking ahead, cause gkicks and /ignore are a lot easier to use.The contract “sounds nice” but it opens a lot of bad doors.
