Absolutely insane. For those of us who value other things in WoW and really do not bother with goldmaking and the economy, it’s nice to be able to buy tokens/sell boosts to sustain ourselves. Crazy to see what you Gordon Gekkos are able to accomplish.
Weird that with people having millions of gold banked and others having nothing, blizzard implements things that help the rich to get richer.
Honestly, I hope to never see another system like these legendaries again. I personally don't struggle with gold, but about half my guild is spending real money on tokens for legendary base items and consumables because the amount of time and knowledge required to play the AH for gold takes away from other activities we are actually interested in like M+ or Mythic raiding. These absolutely excessively difficult to maintain or start professions are building a culture where the standard to acquire in-game items to remain competitive is to swipe your card because selling herbs or ore isn't going to come close to generating enough gold to play the game. Nothing wrong with AH goblins but most players play the game outside of a mailbox and AH interface and this legendary system and Blizzard's implementation of crafting this expac has been highly detrimental to everyone who does leave the auction house on occasion. Unfortunately, I doubt they care about how bad it makes the experience for the majority of players because those who stay are just swiping their cards when they run out of gold and Blizzard profits.
I kinda wish they'd just put the brutosaur back the way it was, where everyone could buy it anytime. Maybe . . . maybe not having such gold oriented stuff in the game would cut down on all those boomkin bots, eh?
garbage
Man, I wish we could make inks in bulk...
Edit nvm
The AH "community" is toxic - it is anti-community. It isn't really about having a ton of gold or resources - it's about time. Scan. Cancel. Re-post. Repeat. Endlessly. These articles make these guys out to be something special, but they just have 2, 3, 4+ extra accounts sitting at the AH all day re-posting. They are actually trying to swing this as a positive. *boggle*A casual comes along on a Saturday. decides to throw up a transmog or a couple crafted rings. He has no idea that he was undercut a couple minutes later/ His items don't sell, and he gives up.Yeah, yeah. I have more gold than I'll ever spend, but new people trying to casually make gold by selling non-farmable mats --- no chance in this environment.
I dislike the legos in SL. I liked at the end of the Legion. That's the best idea imo.
So players couldn't come up with 5 million gold to buy the Brutosaur during BfA yet now they are willing to spend double to get it now for 10 million?
Clickbait title... Instead of "The Brutosaur is Back!" it should say, "The Brutosaur is Back in the BMAH!"
Brutosaur....yamn.....
