Long as you can eventually upgrade it to permaflight I don't mind too much. Just make it account-wide for the love of god.
Seems daft. Should have the option the fly the hundreds of collected mounts if you want to.

Re-reading the article from Blizzard and there are actually *not* saying they removed regular flight - they only mentioned that this is a new mechanic only you guys are saying that they are removing regular flight.
This gimmick is fine for 10.0 but they'd better revert it and let us fly properly come 10.1.

Same old blizzard philosophy. Add a new feature and force players to use it by removing other features. Guess that play the way you want to play only goes so far. Hopefully we will get normal flying by at least 10.1.
hopefully this completely replaces flying throughout the entire expansion and they keep adding exploration stuff to the world with this in mind, like in GW2.
I'm happy as long as customization unlocks are accountwide and as long as each of my alts can customize their own 4 dragons.
So, they are pushing thé extremely convoluted systèmes From our characters to our mounts now. xDI really hope we Can eventually fly using The "normal, simple and brainless" method, or that dragon ride became trivial and less "minigamish" over time.From what we saw, dragon ride Will be mandatory tô reach some places, and we all know how blizzard tends to %^&* up "fun" systems that are mandatory, like torghast and island expéditions. D=But in reality, they are creating a solution for à problem they Don't have, labeling it à major feature and calling it a Day. Turning "flying fun and engaging content".
Unless Blizzard remove this restriction I won't be buying the expansion, how can they claim they listened to the players and remove what has been a key experience with a large amount of work involved by the players from the game, for me they might as well say the dragon isles will only be for the new race and call it a new game and drop the warcraft name completely. This is poor design and lazy development so they dont have codemfircall the different mounts if I'd just paid $$ for a mount I'd want my money back. Its the same blizzard they claim they listen and then go off and do whatever they want regardless of opinions that tell them otherwise.
As much hate as the xpac gets, Pandaria at least did flying right.

If the new dragonriding system is fun, fluid, and not annoying, this is fine. If not, it sucks.Too early to say, we need to see how it actually works.
