Dragonflight Free Trial Available This Weekend: March 9th - 12th

This weekend, from March 9–12, we’re upgrading all inactive World of Warcraft accounts. Returning players will have full access to the game* and all their characters—including Dragonflight, for those who don’t own the latest expansion.Experience the early campaign quests**, unlock and learn the art of Dragonriding, take your professions to the next level, traverse new dungeons, and fully explore the Dragon Isles during the trial period. If you participated in the previous Dragonflight Trial, you can also continue your adventure with your dracthyr Evoker.

Dragonflight brings tons of exciting updates to World of Warcraft, including the dracthyr Evoker, the first ever class/race combo in WoW, a brand-new talent system, updates to professions and specializations and a new Crafing Orders system, a new form of aerial movement called Dragonriding, and much more. Getting Started on Your Free Trial

Download the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
Launch the app and log in to your account.
Click on the World of Warcraft tab within the app, then either Install or Update.
When the installation or update is complete, click Play.
Play free through March 12, 2023!

This is unheard of. Shadowlands had what maybe 2 in 2 whole years. And this just seems to keep going on sale might as well price drop it at this point. It will be 50% off by summer. Dire times for wow i guess. Thats what they get for coming off an expansion as bad as BfA with a dumpster fire like shadowlands and totally burning any little faith some people had left in the company. Then diablo immortal dropped during that time as well... Now I can't access him AT ALL without sub+Dragonflight.
The article clearly states:

THEY LIED TO ME. I GOT DUPED BIG TIME. I GOT TO LEVEL 61 WITHOUT DF OR SUB.
NOW I CAN'T LOG ON, AND MUST BUY SUB+DRAGONFLIGHT TO UNLOCK MY CHAR.

This is total bs, they should be ashamed of themselves if that's their idea of a "free trial". I'm fuming. I hope it's just a bug.Comment by VailniteLike Adamovix said, there are some really bad bugs going on with this free trial. Amoung them is being forced to level to 61, which will lock your toon if you only have SL and the base game. But in addition to that bug, some people are unable to make Dractyr or go to the Dragon Isles at all (like me).

I say this as someone with two different accounts. One is active with SL and the second is inactive... This just gets weirder and weirder...
Be very careful with your non-Dracthyr characters for those of you that don't have DF,
this could be a shameless trick into forcing us to buy DF, like what happend to Adamovix.
