Well ^&*!, iLevel 320. I do understand where you are coming from in terms of "unfair". However gearing up to Post 320 is extremely easy and less time consuming than you'd think. There are several quick and easy ways of doing this. I managed to get to 330+ in less than a week after hitting 120. And I am working full time and having a family so I can play properly maybe 2-3 days a week. Some easy steps that I followed,1. World quests - If you havn't unlocked these yet, it's time to get that done. Then just go for quests that specifically give you gear that you need (Just skip all other irrelevant quests).2. Dungeon groups, use the tool of putting a full group together if you don't have tank/Healer and just spam the &*!@ out Normals until you have gear for heroics. Repeat the steps for Heroics until you feel you can do Mythics and start doing these.3. Mythics in general, if you have mates that can help you in Mythic 0's, then do it. If you have no friends that play WoW? Go out and make some in Azeroth!I mean, if I can gear up at a reasonable pace where I am not playing that much due to IRL obligations, then there should be no problem to be 320 so quickly that the whole iLevel lockout becomes moot.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
couldn't they have just made the reward from them scale as world quests do just as an alternate way to gear up, I myself do not want to spam dungeons for gear and i also don't want to do another WQ just yet after grinding them out for allied races.
I can understand why the i370 reward was a little too high for players that are barely geared for even LFG heroics, but I disagree with the method to "fix" it.Wouldn't it have been a wiser idea to make the Warfront reward item levels scale with the player's average iLevel instead of outright iLevel gating? Say, give i340 rewards for players below item level 330, for example. It's a very easy event, after all.
It does seem a bit pointless to bring in the level requirement but then this seems to be the norm nowadays. After all it is now apparent that we are actually playing Beta for Azeroth. . .can't wait to play the finished game =(
Dear frustrated people:Join a guild. Stop relying on pugs. Seriously, pugs for mythic 0s just for the weekly were requiring people to be 349 yesterday, which is ridiculous, anybody can run them easily at 315. So I stopped tanking for randoms, it's just not worth it. In a guild group everything goes smooth because you know the people you're running with.
I've never cried "faction bias" before, but this expansion it's undeniable. First the mounts, and now this? Just unbelievable. I'm absolutely disgusted with Blizzard. If this was that serious a problem, then it should've been fixed almost instantly. If it wasn't a big problem, then it should've been fixed after both factions had one full cycle. There is absolutely no scenario in which this is okay.
Hmm, the BfA model seems to have the motto of "Do It Fast Before It Gets Nerfed".
I'm a bit puzzled by this. I've never queued for Warfronts, but I've grouped in Arathi farming rares, did the quests from Stromgarde, and got a nice trinket drop from the world boss. I went from about 310 to 322 in the process. Do I need to be 320 to enter on my alts or something?
Another reason not to do Warfronts. I'm happy.
I like this change. Hitting 120 was too overwhelming (for me, at least). Putting the Warfronts to ilvl 320 makes it better to enjoy the other contents without hurry. That's my opinion, of course. By the way, I loved Warfront.
Can see both sides of this debate, not too hard to get 320 lvl in a couple of days if you can play regularly, but no need to hurry is there? Take time, accustom yourself to the various traits of Elites/Bosses & enjoy. If you're getting mad at this issue God only knows what'll happen when you find out that Pathfinder pt2 requires all BfA dungeons to have been completed at min Heroic (+ Siege of Boralus which is mythic only), & you have to be Exalted with all factions. (Well probably - just can't wait to see the forums if this ends up being the case).
