Even for people doing higher keys, this is just a !@#$ty change. It was great to be able to do my ten keys at a lower level for the vault on weeks that have *!@#ty affixes and still be able to come into the push week with good level keys, versus the BFA system where we were obligated to struggle through some aids no leaver on @#$% affixes to ensure we didn't have to &*!@ around wasting time with lower keys before actually pushing on good affixes. I honestly can't see the reason to defend this change, since everyone defending it is just saying Blizzard can do no wrong and not providing any actual reason for why they think this is a good change. This pretty much feels like a direct response to the plummeting time played metrics in the worst way. Instead of providing good and interesting content or changes or balance updates to make people WANT to play, they're just trying to force players to be on more with crappy changes designed to pad time played metrics. Blizzard feels like an abusive husband I feel too invested in to leave these days tbh. Can't remember the last time I had fun on the game but don't want to quit because I keep hoping they make changes for the better to justify all the time I've spent so far.

what a terrible change, jfc blizzard -_- god I HATE this weekly checklist obsession whereby blizzard are FORCING players to engage in their game rather than designing systems that are fun and would automatically have people engaging with them. FOMO is not a good thing, and this key depletion was never a healthy feature. Reality is that MANY people naturally feel a sense of anxiety and stress over having to force keys. Not everyone has the time to dedicate exclusively to wow, sometimes we can't make a week or so, doesn't mean we should be punished for missing out on m+and I'm seeing comments of "oh just get gud" and "causals crying"... but here's the thing, this change only affects casual players and in a completely negative way. Hardcore or just more serious m+ players will see no difference at all since they will always be doing/pushing keys in a week, so this change means nothing to them. But for the casual player base, this is a negative change... so why is blizzard making a change that is entirely negative in consequence to a large portion of it's player base?
Great change, great game dev team, the best of the best in the entire industry. A change many people wanted in their hearts and minds...is this an out of season april fools joke again?
Is an unasked for change but its really not that impactful in the longrun. I personally find dungeons fun so would gladly run more anyway as i enjoy the challenge of m+. Would be nice to see more constructive criticism posts rather than blind rage and hate posts though no wonder devs dont listen when they get very little useful in response just rage and flame
Legit nobody has asked for this. That -1 from Season best is a great quality of life change for everyone casuals, hardcore players, mains, alts the works. Why do they insist on doing stupid stuff like this all the time.
No one asked for this...
No no no no goddamn no.
I'm not sure why people are complaining. If you just do your m+ weekly nothing changes? It only happens if you skip a week of M+ if i read it right.
This is literally just to ensure everyone runs an average of at least 2 M+ each week, because it's impossible to maintain your key level running only one key per week if it's your own key (or a guildy/friend's key on the same level). One side-effect of this is that groups for 13's and especially 14's in the LFG tool (and possibly 15's, since completing a 16 would essentially give you a week "off" from this effect) are going to be way more stingy than they already are, since timing a 14 is suddenly rather more important than it was before.Used to be, you ran a 15, and from then on you got 14's each week. Now you need to time the 14 you get each week, and also do the resulting 15, to keep that going.
Well that's dumb. More grinding, yay
