Hallelujah for Gelbin's become Iron Man!
Gelbin has become... Iron Gnome!
Mechagnomes want to build the elements and become Shaman. Come on. Goblins bribe the elements, surely Mechagnomes can build the elements!
Chant it with me like we're Northerners in Winterfell: THE KING OF THE GNOMES! THE KING OF THE GNOMES!
Has it been officially clarified if performing the Rustbolt exalted grind and the mechagon questline on a horde character will satisfy the prerequisite requirements and allow an alliance character on the same account access to the race unlock quest line?
Do you need exalted with an alliance character?
And thus, the Underpants Gnomes joined the Alliance.
So when we beat an Alliance leader in a raid, they end up just fine. But when Horde leaders are raid bosses, maybe not right away, but they end up dead.
It's disappointing that we have to run a dungeon to unlock this race. The rep requirement is trivial, the 5-man content less so.
sigh...and here I was hoping he'd stay comatose...literally the msot boring leader of all races on alliance side...barely does ANYTHING.
Heya! Great article as always, just a quick grammatical thing; “troggs found and stolen Mekkatorque's escape pod!” Is grammatically incorrect, it should be “found and stole”. Anyways sorry for the bother
you know what I loved in this story?it evolves story of a leader and makes him better. instead of ruining them beyond recognition (aka. Anduin. Baine. etc)
Since you need to grind Volduni reputation on a Horde character to unlock the Vulpera, I dearly hope that unlocking Mechagnomes will require reaching Exalted with the Rustbolt Resistance on an Alliance character.Alliance has been getting the short end of the stick with allied race unlocking conditions since the beginning, with Highmountain Tauren and Nightfallen reputations being significantly easier and faster to grind than Army of the Light and Argussian Reach, and now the Volduni vs. Rustbolt Resistance. It is time to reverse on this Hordeward spiral!
