Boring! Well, that'll save me from having to level a Kul Tiran I don't need. Happy they got rid of the anchor, but the colors are so blah. At least give the females something colorful!
great people complaining about the coat again even though that is the original reason blizzard changed it. Stop complaining and accept it!
On the Coat length:NO! GOD!NO! GOD PLEASE NO! NO!NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOn the Hat: Me gusta
I like the removal of the anchor and changes to some colors but i don't like that they shorten the coat, now it looks awful in my opinion and im kinda sad because i was hyped for lvling a kultiran... Now we are probably month from getting them and they do that. Now it looks like different version of ''My little pony'' but to make it more right for wow i would call it ''My little coat, not in a big boi club'' compared to the length of all other kultiran coats..
The old set is so much better. *sigh*
We were told the sets would be specialized for specific races so they could look really unique for one race. But the way they're editing the armor makes it seem like that isn't the case? Almost as if its being edited to be used by any race?I can only guess there are issues that simply can't be fixed when it comes to special armor designs. I hope I'm wrong about that though.
Overall a great improvement! The more muted colour palette is far more fitting to the gritty Kul Tiran aesthetic, and the attention-hogging butt-anchor was one of my biggest previous gripes -- I just didn't see why the player would wear a coat so much more extravagant than even the Proudmoores', and felt the salt-stained hem of the one worn by the NPCs helped sell the Kul Tirans as rough'n'tumble mariners prefering the rustic and practical to pomp and gauds. And yeah, I like it lengthy too, still; this open-in-the-back version seems a lot smoother with a variety of animations.
I really hope the hat showing your hair stays cuz ive been wanting that for years
I prefer the one NPCs use, when can we have that one? =(
The one good and cool thing was the longer coat and they go and ruin it. Nice.
Like feather in hat, excited hair now shows under hat, shortened coat looks much better (especially the front view ) as you will be able to see other gear better, anchor removal on back of coat is probably better especially weapons that are carried on the back not being lost/obscured. Previous design was far too busy, however if anchor design was brought back it could be less intrusive overall and would contribute to lore. Perhaps the effort to tone down the eye candy of all that previous color did go too far as it seems a little muddy/dull.
Good change!
I liked the longer coat but there were probably some clipping issues or something, and I can live with this shorter one. I do wish they would do something about the sleeves on the chestpiece itself—even just flaring out the ends when you're not wearing gloves (like most long-sleeved robes do) would help; being skintight like that precludes any chance of using anything but a bulky, sleeve-covering glove.I'm super excited about hair working with the helm—hopefully that's intentional and not a wowhead dressing room issue or something. All these fancy naval hats this expansion and I can't use any of them because they all hide hair and allied races go bald when you put helms on :\
I agree... i am disappointed with shorter coat.. and the removal of anchor design ruined it for me... it just looks plain now..
The original design looked much better and was more colourful too.
Come on guys. Kul Tirans can only be played in the normal human model.
I actually love the change. It looks much more smooth. The old one was too harsh/bright.
