This elixir produces one of several random effects when drunk, including (but possibly not limited too):
- Slowfall for two minutes
- Shrinking you for 30 minutes
- Turning you into a skeleton form for 30 minutes (you can still attack or cast spells, but you can't mount or ride a gryphon/wyvern)

Note that you *can* get yourself mounted as a skeleton by eating a Savory Deviate Delight (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6657) after you have been skeletonized, mounting, and then right-clicking the SDD buff to remove it.

Fun Fact: The Noggenfrogger gives you a float ability that lets you glide in the air for a limited amount of time, this lets you do some incredible stuff on live servers. You can get to many secret places that are otherwise impossible to get to, places like Dancing Troll Island.

The mini-me might help you from being easily detected, but for classes like mages, the frost nova/arcane explosion animation decreases in size as well. -May fool your AoE range-

As of 2.0.3 the noggenfogger elixir has been nerfed from 0 to 2 minute cooldown.
They have also nerfed "You feel light..." from 2 minute duration to 15 second duration.

The skeleton buff and the small buff can be stacked making you a small skeleton (in a screen shot i posted) and also its quite fun to use any kind of mount (or aspect of the Cheetah/Pack) while small, the animation seems like you are going faster than you really are

I made a game out of Noggenfoggen Elixirs called "Noggenfoggen Russian Roulette if you'd like to see. I was doing this for a few days before I quit WoW. Hopefully someone here will enjoy it and put together their own game on their server :)

The rules are basically everyone gets together and jumps off of TB and we all use a noggenfoggen elixir at the last moment to see who wins! If you don't get slowfall, you die! If you do it right there should be no res timer, and if you do it where I am in the video, when you release you'll be within resurrection range instantly (and make sure you take off your armor like we did).

I believe the shrinking buff can stack with other cosmetic changes. I came upon a gnome in Tanaris that was shrunken, then turned itself into a pirate. The result was that it was a very tiny pirate.

You can still ride a gryphon taxi when "You feel smaller...", best part is that the gryphon also shrinks. Appeared that the smaller gryphon flew lower than typical.

Also a very good helper in completing http://www.wowhead.com/?search=Dragonmaw+Race (the dragonmaw races) since it makes you smaller. You will get a more wide view of your screen & and possibly it also makes it harder for the guys you are racing against to hit you. If this is true, make sure you make yourself small but not a skeleton and then do these races, naked as always ofc.

I am a Tauren and I use this in Dungeons, the effect seems to always be the skeleton costume while I'm in a dungeon. This helps me a lot to see what's going on, it shrinks you down to a more manageable size with the tight camera angles.

So testing iwth items, I noticed something. Noggenfogger makes you tiny, noggenfogger and winterspring firewater makes you medium-sized (smaller than usual, larger than noggenfogger alone), neither is normal, and firewater is larger than normal. Kinda fun to use both together to get that fourth size. ;)

This potion is particularly useful in Battlegrounds where there are dispellers around such as Hunters, Priests and Shamans, to a lesser extent Mages also.

Consuming this potion, as it is a "magic effect" can lower the chances of your more beneficial buffs being removed and this removed instead. It might not buy you much time, but just think if you're a Paladin in your Divine Shield/Mage in Ice Block and a Priest uses Mass Dispel on you, this magic debuff might just save you.

As a Warrior I have these on me at all times because if I am in a Battleground with a Paladin healing me granting me Blessing of Freedom, this magic debuff can prevent a dispeller taking/stealing it from me.

This is a (male) human mage's best friend.
Every time I run out I head down to Gadgetzan and buy another 300-400 of these.

I've leveled a UD mage to 70 besides my human mage but I still play my human more so this thing really makes casting bearable. Whoever made male human casting animations should be tar and feathered.

Go to your interface options and select max camera distance to high, get the shrink buff, get drunk and world enlarger (if you don't have it it's fine) and see how small you get!

On Noggenfogger Elixir it says the use is: Drink Me. and for Savory Deviate Delight its: Eat Me.

I think this is refering to Alice in Wonderland were the cookie has Eat Me on it and it makes her bigger and the milk has Drink Me on it and turns her back to normal.

God it's cool, especially as a hunter with and since you cant mount those aspects can sure help.
All its emotes work, its pretty good for RP realms, but don't use it in BG's for the following reasons;

removes the affect
You cant mount
It won't persist through death
Money doesn't grow on trees (Only chests, monsters and quests, unless you're a scammer.....) :S

This Potion Can have the following effects.

Skeleton = Unlimited Water Breathing

Smaller = Fun Effect

Safe fall = You wont take damage if you fall a great hight

When using smaller it makes your mounts smaller even the birds you take for a flightpath.

When using safe fall be carful you slow and it sometimes runs out mid air happens to me alot .

I'm kinda surprised no one else here mentioned that his elixir was most likely designed for survival.

Skeleton - Water Breathing (Good if you went underwater too long (with 1 minute breath back in the days of course). Allowing you to survive. ) That event was the most likely to happen of the 3.
Slow Fall - The second rarest of em (in my case that is), to save from a long fall. This doesn't happen often so this aint a common buff.
Shrink - This is obviously the rarest buff of em, cause it was most likely intended for PvP. Before entering PvP, you'd have alot of time to get the buff up before entering Battlegrounds. The buff makes it harder for your enemies to target you, allowing you to survive easier (If the enemy isn't dumbass enough to use tab, of course ;P)

A word of warning! I used this item to become small, and I jumped over the edge of the bridge in the Valley of Heroes, into the water right as the buff was ending. As soon as I hit, I was logged out and got a "you were disconnected from the server" message. After signing back in, the buff was gone. I swam to land, drank another elixir to become small, mounted, and jumped into the water (to get back to the ramp) and again I was disconnected. There seems to be a bug with swimming while shrunk, or possibly just mounted swimming while shrunk. I was 'stuck' for a while, because whenever I tried to sign in, the bug would happen again and I'd be booted. Eventually I kept ninja-right clicking where the buff would appear as I signed on, and I was able to play again. Be very careful!

I Found a interesting bugg with this thing as a druid drink this to turn you in a skeleton than cast flight form than wait for the skeleton buff to wear off and you'll be in your human form and will seem to "swim" in the air just like if you use a hack :D

Either Blizz nerfed the noggenfogger (again) or there are bugs in the machine. Please fix this Blizzard, pleeeeease. Noggenfogger is all about fun! Its also very usefull in BG's as some players have mentioned above.

edit - i just tested it out in Dalaran and used my Reins of the Headless Horseman. I was able to fly when mounting up on the landing pad. I was also able to run down the steps into the center and almost did a complete loop around town in the air before losing the mount and parachuting to the ground. Since it was mounted as a flying mount, once the game realizes I'm on the streets of Dalaran, I'm dismounted and cannot remount. It does work everywhere else in Northrend when mounted because it's mounted as a 'flying mount' . Tested in Shatt also and it works fine.

To be able to purchase Noggenfogger Elixirs from Marin, you have to complete a series of quests.

The Thirsty Goblin - The dew gland drops from Thistleshrub Dew Collectors. The drop rate is pretty low, expect to spend some time grinding mobs for the drop.
In Good Taste - Sprinkle is on the other side of Gadgetzan.
Sprinkle's Secret Ingredient - The object containing the Tragan is in the Hinterlands. Note that it is UNDERWATER. Also don't forget to visit Guthrum Thunderfist/Gorkas if you are missing the Flight Path.
Delivery for Marin - Another delivery quest, this time from Sprinkle to Marin.
Noggenfogger Elixir - Yet again, the quest text says it all.

When you're done, just sit back and enjoy your unlimited supply of Look-ma'-I'm-a-gnome potions.

Besides the shrink-mount nerf, trying to mount while you're a skeleton no longer automatically removes the noggen effect so you can mount so people either need to include a clearaura in their mount macro or manually remove the buff every time you want to mount.

The first effect I got was the skeleton one, and I kid you not, the first NPC I talked to was the innkeeper in Gadgetzan, who said the following:

Add this line into your mount macro to automatically remove the skeleton buff whenever you try to mount.

If you don't use this script, you have to manually remove the buff before attempting to mount.

During the jousting part of ToC (normal and heroic 5s) you can mount a worg as a skeleton. You end up standing on the mounts back. There is somewhere else you can do this, but I can't remember off hand

I also noticed a possible nerf in Culling of Stratholme. Used to be when you entered the time instances as a skeleton and shifted to moonkin you turned into the human form which was nice, fit the flavor of the instance and still could get moonkin buff.

The other day, I went through 2 stacks of elixir and only got feather fall. I have not been in since but will try again and see what happens

People have said it, but no one's explained it.

Marin Noggenfogger, the goblin, has become quite rich from his very popular elixir and since has become the Baron of Gadgetzan. With so many players questing to get his elixir made, he's since been able to just get a work force to do it for him and now you can buy a stack of five from the ever charming Sprinkle Noggenfogger without solving the dilemma of Baron Marin Noggenfogger being too thirsty to give you his famous elixir.

Important thing to notice about the elixir.

If you already have the buff drink the elixir before it is gone and it will refresh the existing buff.

For example if you want to be a mini skeleton getting the miniaturizing buff can be kinda hard since the adds are small to get it. I easily can go through 10 or more elixirs just to stack skelly and mini buff.

Once you get the two buffs when the timer is down to like 1 min or so just drink again and you will get skeleton and mini right away. Its pretty cool because you don't have to drink like 10+ ptions to maybe get the mini buff. :)

About 56%, 22%, 22% as of 4.2

Note 1: RNG means chains and droughts. Don't be surprised when you repeatedly fail skeletons underwater, fail slowfalls while airborne, and fail shrinks while affected by other size modifiers.

Note 2: At one point the slowfall lasted two minutes, but is now only good for 15 seconds. The other buffs remain 10min durations. The potion CD is three seconds and may not affect the combat potion CD at all.

Ohh! When you get the "You've stopped breathing... (skeleton)" spell when you go into water you don't get the breathing spell thats a neat thing if your trying to get a underwater quest.

Since cata the guards are OP even with raid gear...(unlike in LK where you could kill them without much troubles)

the chance of getting small is like 10%, 20% slowfall and 70% skeleton form. i used up 43 of those to became smaller. i got 8 times slowfall, the rest were all skeleton form.

Interestingly, if you use Noggenfogger Elixer as a monk and get the Skeleton Form, your Roll animation is changed. You are shown jumping to your destination (as opposed to rolling)! The jump looks like a hunter's Disengage.

Not sure if this is an intended effect, as the Skeleton Form uses the Undead animations just fine for all of the other monk abilities. I for one enjoy the jump animation ;)

Some things you should know:
- Sold by Sprinkle Noggenfogger in Gadgetzan, Tanaris.
- Stacks up to 20, but is not unique.
- Soulbound when bought.
- Can be dispelled.
- Can mount up with these effects.
- Has a 3 second cooldown when used.
- Effect is random.
- Effect is instant.
- Requires level 35
- No quest needed to buy these.
- Need reputation Neutral or higher with the Gadgetzan.

When used, you will gain one of the following spells:
- Noggenfogger Elixir = Shrinks your character for 10 minutes. Works untill right-clicked or expired.
- Noggenfogger Elixir = Slow fall on your character for 15 seconds. Works untill right-clicked or expired.
- Noggenfogger Elixir = Transforms your character for 10 minutes. Works untill right-clicked or expired. Breathes underwater.

I guess that's enough information for now.

I have used Noggenfogger Elixir 13,894 in my main Gnome and often people asked, when I was beside some player, where they got the Gnome pet. All my Gnomes have dozes of it.

For the Demon Hunters! So if you use Noggenfogger Elixer and turn into the skeleton, then your demon wings still come out when you glide. Looks awesome.

So i just did this quest today on warmane server 3.3.5 i am an undead lvl 80 rogue and once i finished all the quest the shop with potion was not there,i could acces the npc but no potions..
is ther posible that undead can t use this potions ?

sometimes when i use the potion nothing happens, ill use them on my druid while in flight form. it takes me out of flight form and no buffs happen sometimes lol.

Noggenfogger Elixir buff is the best to run underwater delves without worrying too much of running out of breath (can breathe underwater), besides a friendly warlock for Unending Breath of course.
