Can you have more than one active "Mana Sprite" by your side? Cause if it could stack to like 4, then decent trinket!

Each mana sprite heals five times before disappearing (So one heal every two seconds), and the proc rate is high enough (At least on discipline priest) that there's usually at least one active at any given time and sometimes as many as five, though the heals are doing quite a bit less then the value stated on the trinket (A fixed 89.5K vs. the stated 131K, which can crit).

Still seems like a pretty decent trinket if you're concerned strictly with healing output.

MW monk here. This trinket is actually low-key awesome for heals. It did about 1/10 of my total heals, so seems to proc a lot. It did 3x the amount of healing as the Mr. Pick-me-up trinket from last tier. I was worried the loss of Int from a trinket slot would tank my healing output, but it actually was fine!

This thing procs a LOT. It frequently comes in 2nd or 3rd place for my total outbound heals (Resto Druid). If you're a HoT healer, then give it a try.

Interestingly, this can be triggered by the arcane leech from a Guardian Druid's Elune's Favored talent.
This also seems to be able to be triggered by a Guardian's Frenzied Regen, every instance of healing coming from their Mastery, and ticks of healing from Symbiotic Relationship (A wisp spawns near the healed ally if Relationship is what triggered it to spawn).

This cannot be triggered by Leech that comes from tertiary stats, nor purely shielding effects .

EDIT: I fought Crystalmaw (the raider's training dummy in Dornogal) for 21m 37s on a Guardian Druid that has 24.83% Vers and 28.55% Mastery. I was doing roughly 1.05m HP/s, and the shielding and healing portions of the trinket accounted for roughly 18% of my total healing, or about 189k HP/s from the trinket alone with a 681 ilevel version of the trinket.

...that's pretty nuts, considering it was outhealing my mastery, and my guardian druid was stacking mastery out the wazoo.

Each wisp lasts for 10 seconds and heals once every 2 seconds, meaning each wisp that spawns will heal 5 times over its duration.

The trinket has 10 PPM, meaning it should proc roughly once every 6 seconds, so you can expect to see around two wisps up on average... though there's regularly been moments where I've had five or six wisps up at once.

EDIT 2: I did another test against Crystalmaw for 24m 11s . I was doing roughly 1.26m HP/s, and the shielding and healing portions of the trinket accounted for roughly 13.1% of my total healing, or about 165k hp/s from the trinket alone.

EDIT 3: Forgot to mention, the summoned wisps DO NOT heal Brann, even though he's considered your party member. This could be beneficial or detrimental, depending on whether or not you're actually relying on the trinket to heal him...

From today's patch notes:

Fixed a bug causing Twisted Mana Sprite's overheal absorb values to be much higher than intended.

Has anyone noticed a drop in their total outbound heals from this?

This thing is kinda nuts for Holy Priest. It's typically about 10% of my healing in M+ and it both triggers and procs off the mastery. I've sat in Dornogal after casting a single heal and gotten non-stop procs off this trinket for entire minutes because of the HPriest mastery proccing it.

The sprites can also spawn from heals from abilities like Earth Shield. This can be dangerous when the tank is gathering mobs, without establishing thread on them, like it is common at the beginning of Ara-Kara. And when a sprite spawns and starts to heal, this healing aggro is counted towards the healer, resulting in the healer getting aggro from a bunch of mobs. Learned that the hard way today...
