If you forgot to use it at the start of the delve, don't worry. Just use it before killing the boss.

For Tier 11, I received 10 Gilded Undermine Crest in my Delver's Bounty Trove. This was in addition to the 7 crests from Gilded Stash.
NOTE: During the Turbo Boost event, the hidden trove now contains 20 gilded crests on Tier 11, up from 10.

If you run 3x Tier 11 and use your Delver's Bounty on Tier 11, you can earn a total of 31 Gilded Undermine Crest per week in delves. (3x7+10=31)

Bounty crests based on reports:
Tier 11 - 10 gilded
Tier 10 - 8 gilded
Tier 9 - 6 gilded (updated ty for reports)
Tier 8 - 6 gilded

* Remember, this list is for the Delver's Bounty, not the Bountiful Coffer opened by Restored Coffer Key.

You can use these at the beginning of the delve, inside or out, and still get the loot. We were about 1/4 of the way into one when I used it and the loot was still avaliable once the bounty was used.

Anyone have any idea of drop rate on these? I believe it says they are 1 per week per character. However, I got 1 pretty quickly on my hunter, but on my shaman and pally I haven't seen any and I've run every bountiful delve (usually at 11) each day and have yet to loot one on those toons.

These drop from Bountiful Heavy Trunk, which are only in actively Bountiful delves. It does not require a Restored Coffer Key. That is only for the Bountiful Coffer.

Even though it's been public stated multiple times that this won't happen in season 2, I just received my second map for the week from one of the end of dungeon chests, my first from The Underpin, I don't know whether Blizzard intended for each source to drop 1 max a week, but it seems this is happening to multiple people on Reddit with it still rewarding multiple map items per week without issue

If it's helpful I did 4 bountifuls each on 20 characters this week (18 did 7s, two did 8s).

8 got a delver's bounty from an end chest within 4 delves.
5 got a delver's bounty from an Underpin spawn.
7 haven't seen a delver's bounty yet.

7/(20-5)=46.6% to get a delver's bounty from a chest within 4 delves at 7-8 difficulty.

Edit: If you can still get a delver's bounty from an end chest after getting one from an Underpin spawn as others are reporting then this actually drops to (7+5)/20=60% of no map from an end chest within 4 delves instead, which would be pretty demoralizing imo.

Disclaimers: Small sample sizes beware. Tried to do a running cumulative tally but it's wonky from characters being knocked out of the running whenever they got a drop from the Underpin so the final number is the most useful in any case.

But if curious:

2 out of 19 eligible got a bounty from the end chest their first bountiful delve (10.5%).
None of my characters got a delver's bounty their second bountiful delve from any source.
4 out of 15 eligible got a bounty from the end chest their third bountiful delve (26.6%).
2 out of 9 eligible got a bounty from the end chest their fourth bountiful delve (22.2%).

10.5%+26.6%+22.2%+46.6% is >100% because knocking out Underpin drops kept altering the sample size and if there's a way to account for that I definitely don't remember enough of it from doing stats class back in Wrath.

Did see more than 5 Underpin spawns as well but some of them killed me in the middle of trash.

When this drops from, say, a Tier 4 delve - can I still activate it in a Tier 11 delve to get the Bounty Rewards from a T11 Delve, or does it only reward the loot from the Tier it dropped from?

Be very careful when you use this item.:

I used it in the open world because until now I had no issues with this buff disappearing.

Here's what happened:

I wanted to run a Fungal Folly 11 on my main, but went into Earthcrawl Mines by a mistake (both of them were bountiful that day).
Realizing my mistake I instantly left and started doing Fungal Folly, where before around 40% completion I took a peek at my buffs and the map was nowhere to be seen...
No problem, i have a Wave Scrambler 2000 in my bag i'll just use it. That's what i thought..
Basically leaving a bountiful delve without completion removed my delver's bounty map and also triggered the 24h CD on the Wave Scrambler 2000.

I started searching on the net about similar cases and I found out that ppl who got a DC while running the delve had their delver's bounty map buff disappeared, so I guess it could be a similar cause like what I experienced.
This never happened to me in season 1 so that's why assume it might be a bug.

So it's better to use the map before the final boss, just don't forget it, hence why i did it so carelessly in the open world before :)

A little addition: Right after I went back to completing Fungal Folly I kid you not Underpin has spawned..
Immediately thought this is my lucky day, but he only dropped a curio.

So what happened earlier probably just triggered the weekly CD for using up the Bounty map on this character which is really unfortunate.

T8 gives hero track. T4 gives veteran track. I assume T5 T6 T7 some give champion some give veteran. Had to try because it is not listed anywhere. Now you know it has to be T8!

Using the Wave Scrambler 2000 at the Restoration Stone inside a delve you can get the Delver's Bounty without having to depend upon the RNG gods.

I searched the thread and did not find a run script to check if a character has already looted a delver's bounty for the week. I run 6x 80 characters through delves and it is hard to keep up sometimes. Thank you.

The bounty item is unique, but do we know if it's possible to

1) Loot your bounty from the Underpin for the week
2) Save it for the next week/forget about it
3) Use it on a different week, collect the Hidden Trove at the end of the delve
4) Find Underpin again, and get a second Delver's Bounty

You're still only collecting one a week, so I'd think it should be possible, but...

Edit: Did this on my priest for science. Haven't gotten a second bounty yet, however it is showing in the loot table for delves I enter. Will update when and if it drops.

Edit 2: Just used the wave scrambler to guarantee one, looted the second map without issue. Works fine!

You definitely can get more than one a week.

I had an 80 priest I hadn't touched since Season 2 Dropped, I ran a T8 Bountiful and got a map at the end. I used it on a different bountiful delve and also got a bountiful map. I used it as well, and got heroic loot both times.

You also can get one from a wave scrambler then end of run loot, did that on a different alt too.

Season 2 has changed how the delver's bounty works. They are tracked 'as looted' with quest ID 86371 that resets weekly. Unlike season 1, any you find and fail to actually pick up are NOT sent to your mailbox.

If you have one in your bag from last week, it stops you picking up the new one, but only until you have used it. You may use a delvers bounty from last week and still loot and use a second one this week.

Don't worry about losing your chance to loot one, as you will continue to see them drop until you actually pick it up in the current week. I've seen multiple maps drop per delve like this.

I have tested this over the past couple weeks and am confident this information is correct, but if anything changes or seems odd please reply and let me know.

If you run multiple alts, it's sometimes difficult to remember if you looted and used a Delver's Bounty each week on each of your characters. You can create a convenient macro and put it on your button bar for each character to check this status using the following script command.

/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(86371))

If you've completed it on a character, this macro will output true otherwise it will output false.

Since I didn't see this specifically mentioned: If you still have your Delver's Bounty from last week, and you do it this week, then loot another Delver's Bounty this week, you can complete two T11 Bountiful delves and get the 10 Gilded Undermine Crest from both delves for a total of 20.

If you want an easy way to see if you have a map. Download WeakAuras addon and get the aura at this link https://wago.io/seCkY5FRt.

What it provides is an Icon of the Wave Scrambler on the left. The Delver's bounty. has a high chance of dropping a Delver's bounty.
What it provides on the right is a colored icon of a Delver's bounty.

Display the status of your Delver's bounty. for the week.

- If you haven't looted the map yet the WA will have a red border and a red text
- If you have the map in your bags the WA will glow and remind you to use it in a yellow text
- If you have looted the map and not in your bags (most likely having used it)
the WA will have a green border and green text.

Additionally, I added an icon to show if you have any Wave Scrambler-2000s in your bags.

I got two this week, confirming that bug still exists. One from Underpin Wave Scrambler 2000 summon, which I immediately used, then another one at the end of that delve. I used that one too and did another delve, and the trove was there on that one too. That nettet me two tier 11 troves, both with 10 Gilded Undermine Crest, for a total of 41 this week.

I know the text says use it at any time...can you use the map after you killed the boss and before you head to the treasure room? I just did this and I think I may of screwed up

These stack with Bountiful Delves, if you use this and finish a Bountiful Delve you will get 2 chests at the end.

I'm encountering a bug with the buff this item gives. Even though I've used a map and can see the buff in my toolbar, when I try to open the chest at the end of a delve, I get the error message "spell not learned." Have other people come across this issue?
