100k may seem like a lot on live, but on the PTR you receive significantly more elemental overflow. For instance, random elite mobs in the forbidden reach dropped 50-100 overflow. If youve seen the price tag and have thought about starting the farm now, I would highly suggest you wait to farm overflow for this guy once 10.0.7 drops.

Wanna get this mount really quickly and not have to worry about it for the rest of the Xpac? Here’s how I got mine in a little over 24 hours starting from 0 overflow:

• kill all the rares that spawn (there’s 30 of them and you can loot each for about 1000-1150 overflow per)
• do the vault run and loot as many rooms/chest as possible with your keys
• do any storm events that pop up as they also drop significant overflow
• AoE down big groups of adds as each normal add drops anywhere from 10-15 per.
•do any world quests that award overflow

Using these methods I was able to obtain the mount in less than 2 days of activities on the Forbidden Reach.

Update from 10.0.7. - live

100.000 Elemental Overflow may sound like alot, but don't worry! Farming it, became really easy. By killing a few rares, looting a few chests and doing the quests (around 2-3 hours of gameplay), I gathered 30k of Elemental Overflow. This essentially means, you need 3-4 active days and the mount is yours.

I started 10.0.7 with less than 2000 overflow and got my Bruffalon this morning. I just love how beastly it looks and feels while riding it. HUGE, like a real moose. But this one is a unicorn moose! xD

It helps that each rare drops 500-1300 overflow, and if you continue to kill their elite versions you can still get 500+ overflow/kill, along with the keys, untapped knowledge, armor and any other misc item they may have dropped for the day (aside from the pets & mount, though I could be wrong).

100k can be collected very quickly - 5 days. got it today on live server. just did all Rares every day.

also during these 5 days there is high chance to get another mount Ancient Salamanther from rares (1,5% drop)

just farm mobs inside the war creche once you fully clear it there's a thingy that takes to the start of the place and all mobs are already up i farmed the 100k in less than 2 hrs , had 12 k on me when patch released , and you also get tons of keys and those blue items to turn into profession curios and summon rares .

Unfortunately, Noble Bruffalon is a ground mount only and does not fly...

This mount doesn't count towards Thanks for the Carry! achievement, I got it last night and my bar didn't move, I was at 496/500 at that time and no point for this mount was added. Maybe it is a bug, but mount collection achievements are often pretty weird.
