To craft Restored Obsidian Key you have to combinate 30x Key Fragments and 3x Key Framing, you can get these items from Obsidian Citadel Mobs.

Related to the group event in the Obsidian Citadel - Waking Shores that can unlock several rares in the area

Kill mobs in the Obsidian Citadel area and collect Key Fragments & Key Framing
Combine 30x Key Fragments & 3x Key Framing fragments into 1x Restored Obsidian Key
Now you have an option to turn you key to 4 questgivers listed below in the table
You will also get reputation after turning in the key.
Every player can turn the key and when all of you collect 20 keys a quest starts and it unlocks the rare
Keys turn in gives rep with Wrathion or Sabellian depending on which one you choose.
And they have different rewards vendors: Lorena Belle & Samia Inkling

Small Guide how to farm Reputation for Wrathion and Sabellian.

How to do 2x4 party in spoiler:

First go on spot wher you want to do 2x4 farm. Spots:
24.6 58.1 In Basement
28.3 58.8
25 56 in Basement
Then Create party in LRG call "2x4 Key Basement WMoff gr1"

When You get to 5 please give someone who know that He need to keep max 4 please in party.

Then open new party call it "2x4 Key Basement WMoff gr2"

No just keep 4 people in 2 party

Mobs will start spawn much faster and farm will go faster to.

Step 1:

Do Quest Allegiance to One pick side Wrathion or Sabellian ( but leter you can farm reputation for bouth sides ) then You will get Weekly Quest Keys of Loyalty.
Go quick LFG for Quest and collect from mobs 30 Key Fragments and 3 Key Framing to make Restored Obsidian Key. Now You can finish your weekly quest ( You will get 1000 rep for Wrathion or Sabellian and 100 Valdrakken Accord.

Step 2:

Start farming Restored Obsidian Key by finding/making party. Do events for delivered Keys. You can give Keys to 4 NPC but only 2 of them will give you reputation. All NPV next to them have other NPC showing over head how many Keys left to start event.

4 NPC Descryption, events and shop:

1. Wrathion - Need 20 Restored Obsidian Key to start Event Clearing the Vault now you can kill Rare Shas'ith is in cave enter 27.2 60.9 just follow Miraveth. For making better reputation You can buy items from Atticus Belle 26.5 62.5

2. Sabellian 27.6 56.5 - Need 20 Restored Obsidian Key to start Event Death's Shadow now you can kill Rare Death's Shadow is spawn around 30 54 but He is flying around You need to pull him. For making better reputation You can buy items from Xaldrass 27.7 56.2

3. Igys the Believer 32.3 52.5 - Need 10 Restored Obsidian Key to start Event Breaking the World now you can kill Rare Morchok 32.7 52.5 after giving keys wait around 4 min rare is warms up. You not making rep. with this NPC.

4. Forgemaster Bazentus 24.8 61.1 - Need 10 Restored Obsidian Key to start Event Weapon Rack Widget Behind NPC around Forge will spawn wapons on ground poick up to get buff ( Only if you have lvl 70 ).

Shops of Wrathion and Sabellian are almost same the difference is this: Wrathion: Armoire of Endless Cloaks and Obsidian Proto-Whelp BUT Sabellian have Obsidian Egg Clutch and Ensemble: Sabellian's Battlegear Cloth Armor.

Bouth of them are selling: Obsidian Collar and Obsidian Cape. As well When You will get max rep. on bouth of them You will be able to buy Sturdy Obsidian Glasses and Netherforged Lavaproof Boots. This items You need to get Mount Loyal Magmammoth. On bot of this comment will be spoiler with information how to get this Mount.

Reputation:

When You Giving Restored Obsidian Key to Wrathion or Sabellian You will get 250 rep + 50 rep for Valdrakken Accord
When You Giving Restored Obsidian Key to Forgemaster Bazentus You will get 100 rep for Wrathion and Sabellian 50 rep for Valdrakken Accord
When You Giving Restored Obsidian Key to Igys the Believer You will not get reputation at all;/.

If you standing next to Wrathion or Sabellian and some one will hit 20 Restored Obsidian Key You will get 250 of them rep. just that you are close :D.
If you standing next to Forgemaster Bazentus and some one will hit 10 Restored Obsidian Key You will get 100 rep for Wrathion and Sabellian just that you are close :D.

Killing Shas'ith will give 250 for Wrathion can be multiple times in a day.
Killing Death's Shadow will give 250 for Sabellian can be multiple times in a day.
Killing Morchok will give you 50 rep for Dragonscale Expedition ( what and why ? don't know )

Every time you give Restored Obsidian Key to any NPC You Will get Obsidian Cache but ( i think ) every 10th Obsidian Strongbox open only if you have lvl 70 but you can collect them how many you want if you lower lvl.

Do Quests as well they will give you reputation to.

All rare in this location are part of Adventurer of The Waking Shores.

Step 1. ========================

Reach max reputation with Sabellian and Wrathion True Friend. When You get it You will reach Achievements The Obsidian Bloodline and Loyalty to the Prince.

Step 2. ========================

When You reach max reputation You will be able to Buy 3 item. First Buy 2 Items:

- Sturdy Obsidian Glasses - Buy from Lorena Belle or Atticus Belle. /way #2022 26.54 62.46 Atticus Belle
- Netherforged Lavaproof Boots - Buy from Samia Inkling or Xaldrass. /way #2022 27.71 56.32 Xaldrass

When Get this 2 items Go to buy Magmammoth Harness from Yries Lightfingers is on TOP in Obsidian Citadel /way #2022 26.39 55.42 Yries Lightfingers

Step 3. =======================

Now go to mount Tame Magmammoth /way 33.37 72.06, But at first kill mob next to it Qalashi Necksnapper. If You still have problem with mount Tame Magmammoth You need to dismount and do /reload. When You mount Tame Magmammoth use Magmammoth Harness.
Loyal Magmammoth will be added automatically as well You will reach Achievement Grand Theft Mammoth.

2. Petty Theft Mammoth is a simple Achievement, You need to mount 4 Tame Magmammoth and move on them to Mammoth-Tamer Tavok. You can have same problem with jumping on Tame Magmammoth but is same solution, You need to dismount then /reload then You will see arrow to jump on Tame Magmammoth.

Care when You mount Tame Magmammoth he have his HP when mobs will attack You Mount will lose HP. Care as well on lava mount will not loss HP but You will lose a lot don't die XD.

i feel like they really need to buff the droprate for this, you can easily farm 200-300 key fragments but barely have 4-5 framings

2x4 farm in the underground was nerfed, Elites and Elementals spawn less often, and Elites spawn rarer than Elementals.

If you want more of these hunt for rares and do events instead of focusing on "2x4 hyperfarm".

FYI: To start collecting Key Fragments / Key Framing for the Restored Obsidian Key you need to pick a side with either Wrathion or Sabellian. This is a weekly world quest! If you haven't unlocked world quests yet, you can't collect the said objects for turning in. To unlock world quests you need to complete the MAIN CAMPAIGN questline (including Valdrakken!), sidequests are not needed.

Seems like the drop rate got nerfed again today. I'm getting 3 framings every 120-140 fragments now... Ridiculous

They either about to be banned or the non-elites in the stairs leading down to the basement of the castle have 100% drop rates.

Key framings drop often downstairs. The top side mob hardly drop any.

Drop rate on this via elite mobs is crazy imbalanced. If you really need the frames the fastest way is to find a rare elite.

It appears that these are really meant to be farmed from rares, which apparently have a 100% drop once you are able to start farming keys.

For those losing their minds not seeing these drop, you must choose a side in Allegiance to One first before they start dropping.

Here for 45 minutes, gotten 70+ fragments, zero framing. Yes, I chose a side first thing. Not a single rare has spawned since I've been here either. And yes I tried both the top and bottom. Was only doing it for the gold, but it's officially a waste of time. =/

Edit: I logged for a bit, came back and decided to try the bottom area again, and got 3 frames in under 5 minutes. So if you have this issue, try relogging. :)
