Really happy about this. Sometimes I just like to be in stag form, despite a zone allowing you to fly.

IMPORTANT: There is currently no way to remove this spell once you learn it since this spell is not the same thing as a glyph any longer.

All the new tome items for druids that replace the minor glyphs are sold by the NPC Lorelae Wintersong in moonglade.
And they also a new toy item Nature's Beacon so that all your druid alts also learn the random druid teleport :P

I hate being ridden like a common pack animal. However, does this separate out flight form from travel form so I could use glyph of the doe and the sentinel owl?

WARNING: I have just spoken to a GM to ask to remove the new Stag Form ability from my character and they said it isn't possible to remove it. The game indicates no warning about this becoming a permanent spell. There is no way to remove it currently, so think twice before you learn this and commit to it!

It literally just adds your ground travel form as an additional spell. This allows you to go into stag form even in areas where flying is permitted.

Using Vanishing Powder normally removes a glyph effect. However, this is a completely new spell and using Vanishing Powder on it does NOT remove the spell. I am unsure how to remove the spell currently.

I wish they would make this give you the speed of a ground mount like you could before. Even with this glyph, your ground speed is only 140% (155% with Feline Swiftness)

An interesting fact - Bear/Cat/Travel/Treant Form does not share cooldown with Stag Form!

This is one of the Druid Class Books added in Legion. These Class Books have similar effects to traditional glyph's. This puts a new Ability in your Spellbook.

With the update to the travel form speed in 7.1 it appears the tooltip on this form is wrong - you do still receive the full 100% ground speed boost in the new stag form as well as travel form.

This does have its uses. Sometimes there are valid reasons why you want to stay on the ground and not switch to flightform. Or be carrying passenger, cross a river and not realize till a little ways away the passenger didn't automatically go into swim form like you did.

My stag form is all white, and I see that some running around are dark with gold bling. How do I get that form?

For Highmountain Tauren, the Stag Form keeps the usual Travel Form look (Elderhorn) for the race.

This could mean the other allied races have the same :)

I just learned this, and it seems to have automatically inherited the Glyph of the Cheetah that I've already put on my Travel Form! While I'm very happy about this, I didn't expect it - the form being called STAG Form specifically made me think that it would only show up as a stag, to ensure that you had a button for a 2-seater mount in nonflying zones even if you went and made your normal land travel form appear as a cheetah.

Just bought glyphs for a character with a guardian spec activated. GLYPHS DO NOT CARRY WITH A CHANGE IN SPEC.

So I bought Glyph of Stars and applied to the moonkin form whilst Guardian spec.

Switched to balance spec. To find a cool weapon with new form BUT the glyph of stars did NOT remain activated and it was just regular moonkin form.

Bought autumn and twilight life bloom glyphs - cannot apply one over the other to remove a previously applied glyph. Once you use apply it - you cannot get it back.

GLYPHS BOUGHT AT AH currently from like 300gold to 5000g for some.

Can confirm that for Zandalari trolls this has the same raptor model as their Travel Form.

I'm not sure when this changed, but it seems this spell no longer inherits glyph of the cheetah. I've had the cheetah glyph on my troll druid since I hit level 25 (level 80 now and I'm definitely still in the right spec). Just now when I went and bought the Stag Form tome in Moonglade, I used it and it turned me....into a stag! Just to double check, I went and found a mob and entered combat and travel form (as opposed to the stag form spell/stance) still turned me into a cheetah. I was really hoping this glyph would just activate whatever your land travel form would be, and it seems like that's how it USED to work, but unless something is terrible wrong for only me, it no longer works that way.

EDIT: Just for kicks, I even went and bought another glyph of the cheetah, just to see if I could inscribe it to my stag form. Obviously that doesn't work but I figure it was worth checking for science.

Warning, it'll add a ground travel form to your stance bar for all specs and there is no way to remove it.

As of the Shadowlands pre-patch this says minimum level 17 on it, but if you try to use it at level 17 it will fail and tell you "You are not high enough level."

To this day, there still seems to be no way to remove this damn spell and I feel ill never see cheetah form again, even after they updated it.
I never knew it was permanent til it was far too late.

Can confirm that as of Patch 10.0 unfortunately the Mark of the Cheetah still won't work with the Mount Form. I applied Mark of the Cheetah after using the tome, and while the barbershop recognizes it and I even selected the cheetah form, YOU WON'T TURN INTO A CHEETAH WITH THE TOME OF THE WILDS MOUNT. You will still turn into a stag.

It seems to work with any stag form. I have both runestag forms and the chameleon glyph and they all seem to work, I just switch between stag forms. Cheetah doesnt want to pop up though.
