Renown Changes from Shadowlands to Dragonflight1 Renown2500 ReputationHow to Obtain Renown in DragonflightDragonflight Weekly Quests

Aiding the Accord: This weekly quest is given by Therazal in Valdrakken, and it works as a the big weekly quest for the Dragon Isles (think Shaping Fate and Patterns Within Patterns in Shadowlands). This quest requires you to obtain 3000 Reputation between all the four Dragonflight Renown factions. It doesn't matter which order you go for that reputation, as long as you earn reputation with each of the factions, it will count towards this quest. Completing this quest awards 500 Reputation with all four Dragonflight Renown factions and a cache of Valdrakken Treasures.
There can be a few variations of this weekly quest, requiring you to complete a Community activity (such as participating in Community Feasts, participate in a Grand Hunt or taking over the Siege on Dragonbane Keep), in addition to obtaining 3000 Reputation between all four major Dragon Isles reputations.

The Loamm Niffen and the Dream Wardens have separate weekly quests, each requring you to obtain 1500 Reputation with the specific faction: A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen and A Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens.

Since a lot of the renown unlocks are account based is the renown system account wide like PVP? Does the rep earned on my alts go to my total renown?

Comment by famousmort

Thank you! This is exactly the kind of summary I've been waiting for

Comment by Death2snails

Are these still going to count towards the Rep achievement?

Yeah so thanks Organick for explaining the catch mechanism for alts. Quick question. So the weekly quest for assisting the Accord so I already completed it on my lvl 70. Now I'm on my alt and actually picked up the same question in the beginning area. Getting the reputation part was easy however the other requirement is participate in a community feast. My question is that does not open till level 3 renown with Tuskarr so if I don't progress thru the campaign fast enough before reset it will carry over I guess. But my question is if my main has already gotten past renown lvl 3 with the Tuskarr for community feast to be available. Is that just for the main or is that account wide? I'm skipping side quests on my alt just progress at minimum thru the Blue Flight story and get there to the village and grind to lvl 3. But I mean my alt can basically already dragon fly to the village so if he was there and an event occurred would he get credit for participating or not since his renown may not be at the appropriate level. Just curious.

Question: Cheaper repairs for exalted has no replacement or do I miss something?

Really, you can get *3* renown ranks per week? I can see that being very doable for the iskaara thanks to the community feast but the other factions doesn't have anything like that. I'm going to check next week how much I get. This comment just doesn't rub me the right way "gain at least 3 Renown with each faction per week with minimal effort". Maybe someone can give me some actual data from this so called minimal effort and 3 ranks? The weekly quest + world quests might net you 1 renown rank? I don't know so PLEASE if anyone has actually kept track of this LET me know! I'm looking at Dragonscale Expedition, Maruuk Centaurs and Valdrakken Accord specifically.

I know you can gather relics and turn them in but that's not "minimal effort" or anywhere near it.

Next week I'll update my comment(if I remember it) when I have some *solid* numbers.

I believe every faction has a quest that awards a token that gives 2.5k rep.
I remember some of them. Don't remember the others. It would be great to point out those quests in the guide.
The Valdrakken Accord quest for the 2.5k rep token is about Tyr and his secrets.
The Iskaara Tuskarr is about helping tuskarrs in Waking Shores.
I don't remember quests for the other two factions, regretfully.

Three renown a week per faction? Really? That's total BS, I do everything possible each week and might get one or maybe two.

Comment by LStranger

I believe Blizzard want everyone to be in game 24/7 and grind hardly everything. It's how it works now. No "minimal effort" and nothing but main story for casual players. Well, "minimal efforts" now means to get into game few times a week each week, pay some real money for tokens to get some golds for things at AH and somewhere closely to expansion end casual players may get their reputation, some of recipes for professions and may be get professions to somewhat near 60, with best luck also part of cosmetics (which also need a lot of "currencies" to buy them).

I know for sure you can grind out Maruuk renown by spamming the Hunts. I did my final 6 renown in 1 weekend just by completing them.

I hope that renown mechanics will come back in the next expansions
