0-10 Enterprising - Although the Inspiration bonus is nice, Jewelcrafters are really looking for the Sub-Specialization unlock on this part of the tree.

10-35 Prospecting - Who knew the Sub-Specialization with the same name as the Build would be the primary subject of our Knowledge Point spending? Prospecting gives us tons of bonuses to work with, including Inspiration bonuses, speed bonuses, and bonuses to Glass and Gem quantity while Prospecting. The real boon to this Build, however, comes with the ability to find Prismatic Ore: this ore has a much higher yield than other Dragon Isles ore, and can only be obtained through this Specialization!

0-10 Faceting - We'll be frequent fliers in this Specialization, but for now we just want to slowly unlock Sub-Specializations one by one. After each is unlocked and some points are invested, we'll return to Faceting multiple times.

10-30 Air - Giving us two extra Gem cuts, 20 Knowledge Points in Air also gives a bit of Skill and the ability to convert Gems into a higher base-quality item. These will be common themes for all Elemental Gem cuts, and our final prize will have us return to Air later.

30-40 Faceting - Our second trip to Faceting unlocks another Sub-Specialization, as well as a bit of Resourcefulness.

40-60 Earth - In a repeat of our steps with Air, Jewelcrafters will want to invest 20 Knowledge Points to gain two more Gem cuts.

60-70 Faceting - I think we know the drill by now- another detour to Faceting, another Sub-Specialization unlocked (this time with Multicraft!).

70-90 Fire - Once again gaining two Gem cuts, we'll be returning to Fire later for the final recipe.

90-100 Faceting - Finally maxing out Faceting nets us our final Sub-Specialization and gets us closer to learning our last few Gem Cuts.

100 -140 Frost - With this final Sub-Specialization, we can begin maxing out the Elemental Cuts for the Illimited Diamond recipes. While a significant investment, these Main Stat Gems will likely be high-value sellers to those looking to up the budget of Main and Secondary Stats on their gear.

140 -160 Air - Netting us another Diamond cut, Jewelcrafters will be that much closer to learning the full library of their Gem Designs.

160 -180 Earth - Another 20 Knowledge Points, another Illimited Diamond recipe - will Skill bonuses mixed in!

180 -200 Fire - The final 20 Knowledge Points of this Build grants the last Illimited Diamond recipe, with a few final Skill bonuses as well.

0-10 Setting - Unlike some other Specializations, we'll want to eventually fully invest into Setting - however, it's more economical to use Knowledge Points further down the tree before coming back for the Tiered Medallion Setting.

10-20 Jewelry - While Sub-Specializations are our goal for the moment, we'll also return to Jewelry later on. For now, though, we enjoy our Resourcefulness and Skill bonuses!

20-50 Necklaces - It is highly likely that we'll want to focus on Amulets over Rings, and as such, the first large chunk of our Knowledge Points are invested in this Sub-Specialization. Not only do we learn a new Design, we also gain the ability to use Embellishments and Finishing Reagents, both massive boons to the quality of our crafts. Skill and Inspiration bonuses also make appearances on this wheel, and are welcome additions.

50-60 Jewelry - Unlocking another Sub-Specialization, Jewelcrafters will now want to invest points into Rings - but keep in mind the next few bonuses on the Jewelry tree, as we'll be returning here very shortly.

60-90 Rings - Rings look very much the same as Necklaces, providing access to Embellishments, Finishing Reagents, and a new Design.

90-100 Jewelry - Topping off the Jewelry Sub-Specialization, Jewelcrafters will unlock the ability to use Polishing Cloths as well as raise the item level of their crafts - a massive gain for only 10 Knowledge Points!

100-120 Setting - While the second Sub-Specialization is useful in the long term, there's a reason we've returned to this Specialization: Tiered Medallion Setting is simply too powerful to pass up. Adding up to three sockets to an Amulet, this item is an absolute diamond in the rough, and will almost certainly be in high demand throughout the life of Dragonflight.

0-10 Enterprising - Enterprising receives quite a bit of value per Knowledge Point investment, since there are several recipes to learn along the wheel and not a lot of filler. For now, we want to reach the first Sub-Specialization, gaining a Finishing Reagent and Inspiration along the way.

10-50 Glassware - Providing Multicraft and Resourcefulness bonuses, Jewelcrafters also learn a few fun Designs along the way, such as Split-Lens Specs.

50-60 Enterprising - Back to Enterprising, we now want a second Sub-Specialization to give us bonuses to the other main Reagents we craft.

60-90 Extravagancies - Another wheel full of bonuses, Multicraft, Inspiration, Resourcefulness, and Skill are all gained while investing Knowledge Points.

90-100 Jeweler's Toolset Mastery - Swapping to another tree, Jeweler's Toolset Mastery will let us travel to a large Resourcefulness Sub-Specialization, which will drastically benefit Reagent crafting.

100-130 Saving Slivers - When mass-producing Consumables and Reagents, saving materials through Resourcefulness will give you more bang for your buck. This Sub-Specialization, focusing entirely on Resourcefulness bonuses, will allow Jewelcrafters to pump out even more product than anticipated.

Question;

Under the jewelry making build, it says that jewelrycrafting can only make two item slots; amulets and rings. I was under the impression that JC can also make trinkets in DF? Looking at the recipe list here on wowhead clearly shows trinket recipes, such as Idol of the Dreamer. Is this not accurate?

The picture linked on the Prospecting specialisation is misleading (and confusing). The highlighted tab should be the Enterprising tab, not the Jeweler's Toolset Mastery tab.

This is by far the most confusing profession specialization guide on Wowhead. I'm not even sure what to do with this.....

Aside from the wrong picture in Prospecting, what this guide also doesn't mention, to be competitive in the crafting market, you need to invest at least 20 points in Jeweler's toolset mastery. That will give you the additional skillpoints to start to guarantee the highest level crafts. This might also be the case for other specializations, but I can say for certain this is the case with "Setting" specialization for rings and amulets.

Word of caution on this guide, the pics are not necessarily synced with the text above it. MAKE SURE that you are selecting the points of whatever specialization you are choosing from the DESCRIPTION and not the picture. I have forgotten this twice now on two different JC's and both times followed the pic and went down the wrong path for what I was trying to do.

I don't understanding how faceting works. Even with it all filled in you're still not guaranteed to make a highest level diamond. That doesn't seem right?

Specialzations Point Knowledge

Visit the vendor Rabul just to by the Crafting Orders platform. He sells several items which will give you 10 and 15 (I think) knowledge points. These are purchased with Artisan Mettle which you get from the guy at the bench weekly. There are also some additional recipes that can be purchases from him.
