OverviewPrerequisites

You must have Battle for Azeroth purchased.

You must complete some pre-requisites to access the Mag'har Orc questlines:
Ready for War requires completion of the Horde War Campaign on the continent of Kul Tiras. You can refer to our Horde War Campaign guide if you need assistance with any quests or requirements.

Exalted with The Honorbound may take several weeks to obtain, as you can only earn a limited amount of reputation through World Emissary quests, and Warfront turn-ins. Reference The Honorbound Reputation Guide for details on which zone quests provide reputation.

The achievement also awards you with the mount Mag'har Direwolf. The Mag'har Direwolf is the Mag'har Orc's racial mount, and can be used by all Horde characters.

Best Leveling RouteEfficient Leveling Routes

At level 20, start questing in Azshara and then move onto the adjacent areas like Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, and Felwood. Hillsbrad Foothills and Northern Barrens are also efficient leveling zones and can be easily reached if you have heirlooms that teach flight paths.

When deciding between Outland or Northrend, Northrend is an overall more diverse continent.

When deciding between Pandaria and Cataclysm, go to Pandaria and mainly follow zones that focus on the Pandaren culture - The Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, Dread Wastes.

In Warlords, focus on treasures and bonus objectives - this goes much faster with flying!
Check our Draenor Pathfinder Guide if you have yet to unlock flight in Draenor!

Legion Assault GuideMag'har Orc themed leveling zones

In Eastern Kingdoms, Hillsbrad Foothills has an entire questline involving the Frostwolf Clan.

In Burning Steppes, many of the quests involve going against the Blackrock Clan.

Outland, being the shattered remains of Draenor, naturally has a lot of Mag'har Orc storyline, with Nagrand featuring the Mag'har Orcs from our own timeline, as well as some Orc presence in Blade's Edge Mountains.

There are many Blackrock Orc places in Twilight Highlands. The storyline there also covers the Dragonmaw clan, which ended up following Garrosh Hellscream in Draenor.

Obviously Draenor has a lot of Mag'har Orc settlements! You deal with the Frostwolf Orcs in Frostfire Ridge, the Blackrock Orcs in Gorgrond, and the Warsong Clan in Draenor's Nagrand.

War ModeAvailable Classes

Hunter: Melee or Ranged Mail DPS
Starting Pet - Wolf

MageMonkPriestRogueShamanWarriorBest Leveling Spec 20-120

Hunter: Beast Mastery is a really strong solo specialization, with a stronger arsenal of pets available and huge utility both from talents to learned abilities, which leads to an easier leveling experience.

Mage: Frost Mages have a lot of control from snares and roots and can easily kite mobs, while having significant burst damage from using the triple damage component of Ice Lance in order to stay healthy.

Monk: Brewmaster Monks have a great combination of area damage, slows and self-healing, making them by far the easiest Monk specialization to level with.

Priest: Shadow is the only Priest dedicated DPS spec, which gives the edge to it against Discipline and Holy, being able to apply damage-over-time effects on many different enemies and getting healed by that damage is really helpful while leveling.

Rogue: Outlaw is the easiest specialization to learn, without specific weapons or positioning requirements. It has also an easy time traveling from enemy to enemy with Grappling Hook and great self-healing with Crimson Vial.

Shaman: Enhancement has more frontload damage and less reliance on periodic effects so you won't waste as much damage from enemy to enemy.

Warrior: Arms is a straightforward damage dealer who uses a single two-handed weapon to attack, and Victory Rush to sustain themselves from combat to combat.

Heirlooms GuideTravel and Flying

At level 20 you can train the ability to ride ground mounts (Apprentice Riding). At 40 you can train the ability to ride ground mounts even faster (Journeyman Riding).

In Patch 7.3.5, Blizzard removed the extra flying training requirements for Northrend zones. Simply train Expert Riding at level 60. At level 70, you can further train to increase flying speed to 280%. Artisan Riding costs from a Riding trainer.

One way to same some time traveling are heirlooms that teach you all flight paths in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.

Horde: Scouting Map: The Eastern Kingdoms Campaign, Scouting Map: Walking Kalimdor with the Earthmother

If you have a Mage friend, you can have him port you to places with portals to all cities, like Dalaran in the Broken Isles, or the Shrine of Seven Stars in Pandaria.

Comprehensive Transportation GuideConsumables and Bags

Have extra bag space so you can pick up more items along the way. If you have a Legion tailor, Silkweave Satchel is a cheap bag to craft and mail over. Check out the Big Bag Guide if you need help finding some bags.

Food and drink are useful to increase your health and mana while out of combat. Instead of waiting for your health to regenerate between fighting mobs, now you can speed the process up.

Regarding the flight point heirlooms:

you have a typo, "One way to same some time traveling ..." should be "One way to save some time traveling ..."
this guide says those heirlooms teach you all flight paths, but the comments to the items say they teach only some. What's true? Was thast changed recently?

First Aid is mentioned under consumables but is no longer in the game. Tailors make bandages now.

Can you still get the dread pirate ring? I dont see the fishing event anymore.

I did the Hillsbrad Foothills on my Mag'Har toon, hoping for a said questline involving the Frostwolf Clan. Imagine my dissappointment when all the "involvement" turned out to be just a short piece of a dialogue with enraged Drek'Tar, who sells the Forsaken to hell. Also, there was no "Plants vs Zombies" questchain. According to the in-game achievement journal, I did all the quests in Hillsbrad. Did I do something wrong? Seriously, the amount of quests seems really underwhelming compared to the scale of the whole zone, both size- and lore-wise.
