How to get into 10 and 25 man raids.

Every time I enter a an instance it's set to 5 man. How do I turn it into a 10 or 25 man raid. I'm level 100. Sorry if I'm a noob just haven't ever raided. Wanted to do it solo.

The raids and the 5 man dungeons are two entirely different animals. You cannot convert a 5 man dungeon into a raid.
Your best bet is to use the LFR tool to join a random raid group. It's the little green icon on your toolbar. When you open it up you will have the option to que for multiple raids. At level 100 you should have access to all of them. Now keep in mind there are several difficulty settings for the raids and dungeons. For raids the LFR setting is the lowest difficulty, followed by normal, heroic, and finally mythic. Each tier offers more challenges and greater rewards.

If you are looking to solo old content, you can select the difficulty level by right clicking on your character portrait and under "Instance Options" you will find that you can select options for :
"Dungeon Difficulty",
- Normal, Heroic, Mythic or Challenge
"Raid Difficulty"
- Normal, Heroic or Mythic and
"Raid Size"
- 10 Player or 25 Player.

To clarify, there are
dungeons
, which are intended for and limited to 5 people, and
raids
, different instances which are intended for a player range of 10 to 40 players, depending on the age (level 100 raids on Normal or Heroic mode scale automatically for 10 to 30 players, Mythic raids are intended for exactly 20 players)
