I for one Hope that Lady Liandrin is the new leader of the blood elves at some point.
there's many reasons, the first one being that THE GAME NEEDS MORE FEMALE LEADERS. As it stands today, only Tyrande and Sylvannas are the ones in alliance and horde, and while one is an invisible woman, who happens to be a neurotic whimp, the other used to be an awesome character, who was unceremoniusly recicled into a cartoon villian by the writers.
Lady Liandrin is a woman who has shown she has Vision, and is also an "
Action Girl
"
she was the one with the guts grits and b@lls to fund the blood knight order, and while yes that was a horrible thing to do, it took guts and Vision to pull it off. Not only that, once proven that what she did was wrong, she wasn't a stuck-up proud stubborn mule, she accepted her wrongdoins and actually did something about it to mend the mistake, thus showing she's reasonable.
once on the sunwell, she was preaching hope for both the sin'dorei and quel'dorei, showing the ability to move behind grudges (something EXTREMELY RARE FOR AN ELF)
all in all, I'm a fan of her, and hope she gets a brigter spot in cataclysm.

EDIT: Moira would be another candidate for female leader. She's part of a council thing in Cataclysm for Ironforge.

And, I though, presumably killed by King Dragonslayerchin.
Anyways, sure, we could use more female leaders. But Tyrande needs to drop the cheerleader pompons and get her armor back and act like wearing it, if you know what I mean.
Captcha: established zella
Nah, that's been reversed, he no longer attacks Ironforge and wipes out the Dark Iron(which was a moronic post by whatever idiot created it in the first place... he wouldn't attack an allied city on his own....).

don't forget what the high-elves did too bro' I mean, showing suport to the enemies of silvermoon aint exactly peachy if ye catch my mean.
Mag'har orcs were able to forgive their formerly corrupted brothers once they saw they no longer walked the path of damnation.
but as you said before (and I agree) elves (ALL elves, not just the blondie ones, dark ones too, and even naga) are too stuck-up and aparently can hold a grudge over everything for eternity.
Like
the elephants
aparently.
Edit:
Moira would be another candidate for female leader.
o_O the concubine of a demented dark iron emperor? the same dark irons who summoned ragnaros, and are just as insane as the twillight hammer? are you serious?

Note, the forced turning is in the RP books.

We'll have to see. I doubt Moira will be a "good" leader but he wants the Ironforge kingdom well and running by the time his son reach the age to become Thane.

the same dark irons who summoned ragnarosThree hundred years ago, and considering what we know of Rag and his forces... the Dark Iron's probably haven't been having a fun time of it. Entirely possible there is a group of them tired of being the servant of a giant flaming monster and just want to go home... and seeing as the Emperor is dead, and there is a group of Dark Iron's attacking the Airport, something is happening among the third Clan.

Not only is the Emperor dead but the big Elemental Lord that had enslaved them was banished long ago (recently he had returned but it is unrelated).
