I just recently got this book from a mob in the masters glaive area of darkshore on my 46 shaman.

This counts as a quest for Kalimdor for the Loremaster achievement.

I can confirm the book is still obtainable well after completing Knowledge in the Deeps. I farmed for about 20 minutes until it dropped in the Masters Glaive area. Keep in mind this is a rare drop of maybe 1% off Thugs or Disciples.

This was done on 3.2.2.

Is anyone sure that this quest still exists? I been farming these guys for 3 hours and so far no drop

I finally got it. Confirmed still in game and drops. Can take FOREVER!

I got mine in 10 minutes. Note to lowbies doing this quest, they respawned for me almost instantly a lot of the time. So watch your back. I probably killed 40 of them or so. I'm a level 80 night elf priest.

The Powers Below

Inside the book is a listing of unpronounceable names with foreboding titles, methods of worship, and preferred sacrifices...many of which include living, humanoid creatures.

On the inside cover of the book are the words: "Bonegrip's Runes and Dooms, The Forlorn Cavern, Ironforge. Proprietor: Gerrig Bonegrip."

If Bonegrip sells books like this, perhaps he'll buy this one back.
