The location of the cave is on the small island in the north-east corner of Ghostland.
When you light the brazier a level 12 Blood Knight named Sangrias Stillblade attacks you, should not be a problem.

Exact location of the brazier is (68, 7). It's pretty noticeable on the main map.

As Teer said, Sangrias Stillblade (Lv.12 Humanoid) attacks you after you light the brazier. He hits reasonably hard, about 20-25 on mail with a two-hander, so make sure to start healing early if you feel you need to do so. Kill him, and return to Knight-Lord Bloodvalor afterwards to get the next part of the chain.

You may want to pick up and complete Anok'suten from the Dying Blood Elf at (57,14.) While she's a Lv.11 Elite Undead, he isn't too hard by herself, especially if you've picked up a few greens from the auction house. However, she calls for help at around 40%, so do be careful to pull her well away from other nerubians. She can be found roaming the circlular road surrounding the tree in the center of the town.

It's also advisable to complete Suncrown Village as well, since it's along the way and you'll likely be returning to Tranquillien in order to fly back to Silvermoon City.

He did this really cool flying kick stun thing on me when I did it. It knocked me down and stuned for like 3 secs. I did it at lvl 20 though.

Had no problem killing him at level 12 and the quest is very much worth the time put in. I enjoyed killing him several times just for the sake of it.

There are very few NPC's with the subtitle <Blood Knight> or the like in the game, I believe this is the only one you can fight. Aside from killing the boss Lady Liadrin <Blood Knight Matriarch> as Alliance, she is their leader. Do we know anything else about this mysterious group? Is Blood Knight a class, or just an NPC guild of warrior elves that no longer use magic.

i dont know if any one could help me here but when i go into to the cave and light the fire pit the guy dosn't show up... and the undead that is sabosed to be patrolling arounded the tree there isn't any where there .. could someone please help me out...

At the entrance of the cave there would be a few Lvl 10 Nerubis Guards but that should be a problem.
Then when you light the braizer, a Blood Knight named Sangrias Stillblade would apear and attack you.
He's only level 12, unarmed and he did 13 damage to me.

You get 13g for doing this quest at 80, see screenshot. ;)

Ironic quest if you ask me. He asks you to leave bloodshed for a bit and learn to focus, concentrate, and meditate by killing an attacker.

Anyways, not a very tough quest. To get back up to SMC without wasting a hearth CD, take the flight path from Tranquillen.

I waited till lvl 67 to do this because i was pwrlvling my pally with 10% added per monster/quest heirlooms , but I finished the "first Trial" Quest while working on getting my Rez Spell, but I got 11,650 experience After turning in this quest! I was expecting to get 900....Blizzard makes the experience equivalent to your current level, I was kindof happy about that, But I still recommend that anyone lvl 12 do this quest chain to have the rez spell while lvling/questing!

This quest is tracked on the map as one appropriate for my level and rewards 13gold on the level 80 Paladin I transfered from Alliance. Seems like a rather...dodgy mechanic?

It gives experience based on the level of your character(eg. at level 40 it gives 4785 and at level 11 it gives roughly 1000)

You have learned much of combat and bloodshed, initiate, but there is much more to our order.

Mastery of the Light requires a focused mind and tremendous willpower. Without these, you are little better than a street thug.

There is an island in the northeastern reaches of the Ghostlands, called the Isle of Tribulations, that we use to hone these skills. You will find a brazier within a shallow cave there. Kneel before the brazier, light it, and focus on what you see before your eyes.
