Gorgannon is around 89,76. Just have to take the path to him, I just missed it when first coming in and found the ramp up first.

The felhound packs have fairly low HP, but they can be disasterous if they path over to you while fighting the Dreadlords; I suggest killing them first.

If you're having trouble finding the way to Diathorus, look out for small glowing stones on the ground, follow those as they mark out a small path to the entrance. You'll be in the right place at the start of the path of the monument is to your left.

Ok everyone has put good comments on this quest, however I still got a little bit confused - and that doesn't happen often, I swear!

Gorgannon - 89,76. Follow the first ramp directly to him.

Now here's where I got stumped...

Diathorus - Come back down the ramp you just went up to fight gorg... go the other way and look for the small glowing stones that senstarr mentioned, follow that to the top.

At the top and a few paces forward you'll see a bonfire and an entrance to a maze cave.

He's inside a maze cave filled with the demons you've been fighting since the first part of this quest. I submitted screenshots of the path you should take once inside this cave, but they're not posted yet so I will take the liberty of converting it to text.

- Go down the initial walk way till you get to the first intersection.

- At the first intersection bare left (not down a hallway!) down a ramp that spirals underground, follow that till the next intersection.

- At that intersection you will see a bridge straight ahead of you before you can see anything else, that is your yellow brick road to Diathorus.

Hopefully the screenies will be put up soon.. and no one is confused by my post :)

Thanks Steelbane for the nice screenies of where to go. I've just uploaded a 5th to show where on the minimap you need to be to find Diathorus, and what the final room looks like where he can be located.

What's this guy's respawn rate? I've been standing there for half an hour already and killed a couple waves of trash respawns and he won't show up... :(

Please be aware that Diathorus the Seeker spawns in 3 different places. Taking steelbane's directions, when facing the 'yellow brick road' I had to take a left instead and go and fight mobs all the way down until I found him. I uploaded a screenshot of where I was.

Do try and kill the packs of hounds first, they're easy (I was lvl 30/31) and they can be a pain when they walk by you and you're in the middle of a fight. Shamans, drop a magma totem and a health totem, and use earth shock as much as you can and you'll be fine.

Just to add, the "green" glowing rock things are near the monument. I had trouble finding these as I am Red/Green color blind. They looked red to me :)

Diathorus the Seeker can be 2 places ! .. If you can' t find him following the pictures, then go left all the time at the intrance untill you find him

The demon in the screenshots is Gorgannon, not Diathorus. Sorry for the mix-up...My mind wasn't functioning properly when I submitted it.

After 2.3 nerf there are no felpuppies, and Diathorus spawned for me right at the bottom of the entrance. It was still worth it to clear the dungeon. Lots of experience. One point is that manaburn seemed to be an effective way to take down Diathorus. The suggestions to manaburn the Insane Druids got me thinking about using it on these casters as well. I was 5K away from dinging when I started this quest and ended up 10k over level.

I soloed this easily as a 30 fire mage--though I couldn't hit the fel elementals with any fire spells. I was ready to Counterspell Diathorus's fear or drain life, but my Pyroblast and Fireball critted and stunned--I was able to take him down before he had a chance to cast anything.

I soloed this quite easily as a lvl 28 Draenei hunter.

Gorgannon was easy to find, but Diathorus was a bit harder. I had to go all the way down and in to get to him, in a large circular chamber with Mannoroc Lashers. He was in a little hollow on one side.

When searching for Diathorus, the dungeon layout seems to be the same as that in the insane druids quest. There are good directions under the comments of that quest to get to each of the 3 druids, and Diathorus can spawn at any of these 3 points.

Just to clarify, if anyone was wondering and took this sentence out of context.

You will find Gorgannon in Demon Fall Canyon south beyond Felfire Hill, near Mannoroth's floating, broken spear.

Floating could mean floating on a lake, since you see at least 2 areas on the map near where this quest is that are made of water or at least show to be possible lakes. In fact, it isn't floating in a lake as I thought it had meant. It's actually floating in mid air in 2 pieces near Gorgannon.

To find Diathorus, go through the cave until you come to the only perfectly circular room. He is in a small side room that comes off the lower level of the circular room.

Just did the Horde version of this quest, and it looks like this one was of the ones simplified in patch 3.3. I literally found Diathorus standing on the bridge directly in front of you right when you enter the cave, somewhere I've never seen him spawn in the dozen or more times I've done this quest as both Horde and Alliance.

he doesn't always spawn in the same spot so following a previous post of directions wont always work.I was doing this for Loremaster and found the best way to do this was a way i used for many more quest i made a macro ' /target diathorus' and was clicking it when i was in range to target i would start hitting one of my instance cast to see when i was actually in range to attack even if not in line of site this would give me an idea of where in the cave he was then i would go to that spot on the mini map for the different levels till i actually saw the red hit box form having him targeted with the macro.

The path up to Gorgannon is lined with torches. The starting point is between two fallen trees. If you can see the monument, you've gone too far into the canyon.

THIS QUEST STARTS from a scroll that DROPS from the same demons the quest takes you through. I got them off the succubus mobs the most. Easy soloed at lvl 19 if geared. Do w/e u need to to get your hit rate up and your good to go on the mobs.

I did the quest with my lvl 30 Hunter and found it quite straightforward until the Diathorus part. I'll also add a comment on finding him that I hope is simplified enough for others to understand. Of course, not with any intentions to offend the people who've already posted their comments on the same.

Like the others said, take the ramp to your left. Just before entering that circular arena that can be seen in the map, stop at it's entrance. Then, when you look to your right, you can see those glowing red-and-green obelisks mentioned by many others.Then its just a matter of following those obelisks to the top. You will find one or two Mannoroc Slashers. Kill them and go further ahead.

The area ahead is mostly empty. Search for a barrow den entrance similar to the one seen in the Insane Druids quest. Just go inside the tunnels. In my case, I just had to kill a Searing Infernal and I could see Diathorus ahead on the first bridge-like structure. Others may find Diathorus somewhere else. And, there you are!

The reason why I mentioned stopping at the entrance is because the obelisks are at the extreme right of the screen. So, from that viewpoint, I feel my instructions can help :)

I will confirm, that as of this date, the quest line is obtainable and can be completed. I will also include a screenshot as to the location of each objective (Never Again! quest).

This quest still exists for 5.4. You must first complete "Diabolic Plans", a quest-chain starter that is given from an item dropped with the same name. "Diabolic Plans", the item, is dropped from demons around the Warsong Lumber Camp area of Ashenvale (at least that is where I received it from when doing the demon slaying quest). Turn it in to Valusha to get "Never Again!".
