When I got to the island I was unable to light the "wickerman" because the torch wasn't in my bags. The quest mentions that hte orb is in the stachel he gives you, but the torch is put in there as well. You'll have to take it out of the satchel first, and then light the wickerman

The fire elemental is level 10. Just clear all the surrounding owlbeats as mentioned above. Very easy.

A nice little trick since this quest requires a lot of foot work. If you pick up the quest "The Kessel Run" at the same time, you can warn the 3 people for the quest, then run down to the island where you need to kill the Fire Elemental. Afterwards, use the quest item to recall yourself, then it's just a bit more footwork to get back to the guy for "The Kessel Run".

Coords are 11,82 on silvermist isle. If you don't have coords, its almost in the middle of the isle.

He is an easy step-by step guide of how to complete this quest :D
(I highly recommend downloading "Titan Panel" to access coords)

1. Head to Slivermist isle

2. Head to coords 11,82
(The effigy should be near a tree)

3. Clear area of Deranged Owlbeast

4. Burn the effigy

5. Kill Hauteur

6. Use the Orb

I somehow cant get my call of fire q uest since i proly threw it away and now i dont know how to get the quest. can anybody help me?and im a lvl 20 draenei shaman.

If for some reason you're struggling to do this quest, you can make it twice as easy. Once you've cleared the owlbeats get your health up and place a Stoneclaw totem by the Effigy, as soon as he pops you've got enough time to Thunderbolt through roughly 50% of his health, making this even easier then usual

i have a big problem with that quest , i was stupid and i press on abandon Quest and now i dont have how to get that quest . where i go at shaman trainer i have only Train me and reset talent. some1 help with that problem ? replay pls

i light the efigy only and he didnt show up then a kill all the owlbeast and i dint show up again what should i do plz answer quickly tnx

I had almost gotten to the place where you are supposed to kill Hauteur...when I accidentally right-clicked the orb of returning and returned to the questgiver...had to walk ALLLLL the way back to the other side of the island, killed Hauteur, only to realise that the orb is a one-use item and walked all the way back to the queatgiver, a huge waste of time.
So for all you shammies:

DO NOT RIGHT CLICK THE ORB UNTILL YOU ARE DONE THE QUEST. Because there is no casting time, no time to click esc. or jump, it is instant.

I hope you guys don't make the same mistake as I did.

Don't use http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24335#contained-in-item since it's only usable one time, so first do the quest then use it. If you lost it you can abondon the quest and get it again... I had to learn that the hard way :(

The owlbeasts of Moonwing Den on Silvermyst Isle, far to the southwest, have been deluded into thinking that Hauteur is a god to be worshipped. What he truly is, is a fallen elemental who needs to be put out of his misery. That torch is the key to his downfall.

Hauteur regularly demands that these owlbeasts burn an effigy in his honor. So, when you light it, he will come. Slay him and bring me the ashes. Then use the orb in the satchel that I will give you to return to me here.
