One of my alts is still neutral to the Argent Dawn; the quest doesn't seem to show in that case.

Before BC, it made sense to hold off on doing these quests until you had a large amount of argent dawn rep. That way you could turn in when enemies stopped giving you rep, and get a free 500.

Now, however, it makes sense to hold off doing these till lvl 57, then turn them all in, as each one gives you 6000 exp the first time. The parts are readily available and can even be bought and sold on the AH. This is an easy way to get that last exp boost to get you to outland.

This quest is available probably at any level, but all of the collections quests (for the Savage Fronds, Dark Iron Scraps, Bone Fragments, and Core of Elements) are not available until you reach a Friendly level of reputation with the Argent Dawn.

My 54 Shaman has them all and just hit friendly.

Post 2.3, this quest now gives 9550 exp and 1000 Argent Dawn Experience.

I think this has now been changed to both Alliance and Horde. My blood elf mage was able to pick this quest up today, and someone else in my guild also has it.

No Savage Flora appeared. Waited for them to respawn but no luck. Oh well I can always blame the patch! or an early freeze!

you get the savage frond from killing the Bloodpetal Thresher's in Un'Goro Crater (68;29)

I make a special type of armor for the brave heroes that enter Naxxramas known as Dreamwalker. They are able to provide me with most of the materials I require but I am always looking for those able to retrieve savage fronds from the flora of our world.

You may think of this job as beneath you, but without the fronds, the armor could not be made.

I am also in a unique position to pay you with an insignia of your choice as both the Dawn and the Crusade supply me with funds.
