Paladin Epic Mount Questline:

Step 1: The Paladin trainer in the Cathedral in SW gives you 2 quest lines to complete:

Step 2A: Emphasis on Sacrifice (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7637) (Priest in IF)
Just need to fork over 150 gold. (And you thought Paladins got free mounts)

Step 3A: To Show Due Judgment (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7639)
Take the Censer back to Grayson.

Step 4A: Exorcising Terrordale (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7640)
Head to Terrordale in the NW part of the Eastern Plaguelands. Stand in the green circles and push use your Censer. Kill 25 of these dudes and head back to Grayson.

Step 2B: The Work of Grimand Elmore (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7641)
Head to the Dwarven District in SW and talk to him.

Step 3B: A Collection of Goods (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7642)
You need to pick up a lot of mats for this step, and another 150 gold.

- 5 Stratholme Holy Water (From the crates in Stratholme)
- 10 Arthas

It would be good to note, that if you die after the event starts...you become locked out of the Rattlegore's room...so you have to start again from Step 7...found this little tibbid out the hard way...at this rate i am going to be the only lvl 70 paladin without a Charger...

Seriously... I can understand these quests in WoW version 1. But how does Blizzard expect paladins to get GROUPS for these instances in the Burning Crusade era? (Not to mention with another expansion a few months away). Dire Maul? Stratholme? Scholomance? I could be trying in vain for literally weeks on my server to get a group to run these.

These questlines are brutal. It's much easier to just farm approximately the same amount of gold (350 in fees + how much in mats?) for a "normal" epic mount.

Anyone (myself included, before I rolled a pally) who thinks paladins get it easier than the other classes is mistaken. Getting an epic charger is a challenge.

better spend 1day more and get 600g from outlands q etc~than to be in outlands an go bacn to that questline in outlands an go back to azeroth to get your free epic mount for
paladin with that q line(only 450g!)omg

Absolutely QFT.

While I waited until I hit 70, I'm going to go back and get my epic charger now. The items themselves are simple, the Terrordale quest is laughably easy, and with my guildmates we blew through both sides of Strath (just for fun) in an hour, got the holy water and a couple of trinkets that people don't see anymore since so few people do these instances (Cannonball Runner ftw!)

This quest still requires some terribly annoying dungeons.

It would be very nice if the equine spirit was duplicated in Ramparts and the Death Knight summonable was made available in Ramps or Blood Furnace.

(yes, I had guild mates to help me, quest is done but I see the points laid out here)

How much cheaper is it to get the epic pala mount, instead of getting the normal mount?

There is a MUCH easier way to get it.. when dinged 61 you go to your hometown, make sure you got 527g.. find the riding trainer, pay him/her 510g for journeyman riding.. then simply got to the paladin trainer who gives you this quest (dont know if you can pick any pala trainer) and purchase the charger skill =).. worked for me, newly turned 61 Dre pala.

Well Blizzard allow you to train this pala mount @ trainer now on 40 lvl, as soon as you have raiding skill for it, what make Vanillia paladins sad :(
Its all easy now in WOLKT, you lvl up 1-80 in 2 weeks, get full epic gear 232 lvl in few days - so its not intresting any more... Old vanillia days was hard - you was need both SKILL + GEAR to do any raid, and PvP farming wasnt easy - you was need months to come to Marshal rank and first epics... Now every kid can collect full epic gear in few days, thats why some ppl stil playing classic cap 60 chars.
I'm proud of my Marshal rank (now tittle), its only that left to me from those old school days I miss so hard...
