To find the stalkers, follow the coastline southwest out of Grom'gol. The area from the coast to the Gurubashi Arena is filthy with these things, so you should have no trouble finding enough to kill. Drop rate is maybe 20%. Be careful of the elite raptor that patrols this area (he is the objective of one of the Nessingwary quests).

You can double this quest up with the Nessingwary quest that has you hunt stalkers.

I did the quest along with the third part of Raptor Mastery, because you have to kill 10 Stalkers for that quest. I'd say the drop rate is about 1 feather per three raptors. Good for grinding.

This wasn't so bad. The droprate was quite okay for me. It took me about 10 minutes.

27 Gorilla Fangs
17 Coarse Gorilla Hair
2 Heavy Hide
4 Large Fangs
4 Medium Leather and 15 Thick Leather later....

Took about an hour and a half to get.
Got about two bars of xp at lvl 45.

I found it in the location of 34,65 near the mountain. The Gorilla ran up to me out of the blue actually. Try for any Gorilla's behind the trees near the mountain around this area.

Considering the fact i gathered 3 stacks of Raptor Flesh and 2 stacks of Raptor Hides,I'd say that the droprate is closer to 1/20 for the feathers...nice grind,nice leathers for skinners but pretty boring,not to mention it's in a heavily grinded quest area which might make it really interesting on pvp servers...

Don't let the initial drop rate fool you! I got 4 feathers in 6 kills and then it stopped dropping all together.

Took me nearly 3 hours to complete.

It took me around 40 minutes to do this quest. I was around 31,42. There was a fairly steady drop rate, and easily done with a level 40 hunter.

The drop rate is just horrible, i had already killed all my stalkers for my mastery quest before the first feather dropped. Still worth doing, since a bit of grinding is always usefull.

drop rate about 1/3.
First 4 i got in a row maybe 30 mins total with no-one around so no problems with spawns.

The Jungle Stalker Feathers drop off of Jungle Stalkers around 33, 37. It's about a 50% drop rate so its not to bad.

the drop rate is very bad.. took me about 20 min to get it.. do the quest with another quest called raptor mastery which is to kill 10 raptors

I only had to kill 18 to get the 10 feathers. Never had to wait for them to respawn or anything so the quest went pretty smoothly, around 32,37 =)

found lots behind gurubashi arena, drop rate was very bad for me, but a little perseverence goes a long way!

It took me about 20 minutes in total and as a level 43 rogue they were easy kills and could usually take 2 on at once.

As of the last patch, Tethis the 43 elite is no longer an elite raptor. I found most of my raptors near the Arena. This was an...interesting quest on a PvP server being this close to the arena :).

Got most of my feathers fairly quickly...decent drop rate and EXP. Soloed as a level 41 Holy Priest.

The first 10 i killed didn't drop a single feather, but afterwards, every 2nd dropped one. Good hunting!

This is a pretty slow quest. I finished it after 43 kills, so the drop chance was roughly 24%. The Jungle Stalkers can be found from 36,38 and then all the way down to the Gurubashi Arena. Do this quest together with the Raptor Mastery part 3 quest (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=196) for extra leveling efficiency.

There are alot at 30,46 (Near the gurubash Arena)
Level 40-41 raptors
Does not drop off the young Jungle stalkers.
Droprate is alright, about 35% not too bad

i did this quest the same time with the nesingwary quest that told us to kill 10 of these raptor, by the time i kill 10 of them (finishing the nesingwary quest), i have 5 of the feather in my inventory, so i think the drop rate has increased a little, cause from 10 i have killed, i get 5 piece of feather.

The drop rate for me was pretty bad when I was doing the Nessingwary quest; by the time I had finished that one I only had one feather. But after I had killed my 10 for Nessingwary the drop rate dramatically increased to about 80%.

I was about to finish it as a lvl 38 rogue.

Doable as a Lvl 37 warlock drop rate is 22% according to mobinfo so 20% it's the most probable droprate.

You farm lots of things as said before and it's enjoyable because of the proximity of the arena, specially when the captain announced the chest and lots of 70's started ganking me :D

I did this quest as a lvl 37 mage i did it with raptor mastery (jungle stalkers) because the raptors were all orange and red to me i got about 3/4 of a lvl but i got 1 feather in about every 3 raptors found beside and behind the arena GL

this quest was a royal pain up my ass, took me about 40 minutes on my level 38 alt, died twice but besides that nothing else to do but grind, good experience

Dunno if the drop rate has gone up, but by the time I finished my 10 kills for the Nesingwary quest, I had accumulated 5 feathers, and killed another 13 raptors to get all 10 feathers, making my drop rate around 43%.

Easily soloed as a lvl 40 hunter. The drop rate sucks though.

I did this quest for 19:57 minutes (stopwatch) on my level 38 mage, i did not die. They are around the arena and its full of them, also i found they drop a non-quest item (poor quality, vendor trash) with the same icon and a very similar name, i ended up picking up two if them and wondering why my count is not going up, check for their quality before you pick up the feathers.

The items you gathered from the feline beasts of the Vale are only the first requirement for a powerful enchanted item. These jungle trinkets combined with my shamanistic ritual will provide you with a very useful tool in assisting the Horde and the Warchief.

But now you must gather for me some Jungle Stalker Feathers. The feathers are traditionally worn by the beasts on their armbands. You will find a tribe of the raptors directly south of Grom'gol, not far from the great arena.
