For those of you using TomTom, here are accurate coordinates, I stood ON the boxes to be as accurate as possible.
1= 31.8, 32.6
2= 33.8, 40
3= 39.3, 41.5

Just as a request. . . . I think that wowhead should tag quests that are currently broken or allow users to submit requests to have quests tagged. I've been running around trying to do this until I scrolled down further.

A red warning at the top might save a lot of people a lot of time regardless of what quest is currently broken.

yes, I just tried this quest, and it is bugged. Wasn't able to pick up the notes. I only tried one though....Note #2. figured if i couldn't pick up one, why go after the others? Won't be able to complete the quest.

A little tip, after you get the third note before the bridge there is an area you can dive into the water where the water elementals are, you don't get hurt if you jump, becareful not to jump on a boiling water elemental.

Using Prowl for Druids (Cat Form) is a great way to sneak by the Grimtotems and limit the battles to those guarding the chests.

you do not have to get the notes in order. i got #2, #3 then #1. after u get #1 u can just drop down to the path down and walk out unscathed.

Exactly get note 1 last and its a short jump down to the path you came up. I fought 1 grimtotem guy and was down.

Fully recommendable ParkingMeter's proposal.
I would also suggest to do Arikara quest on the fly.
You just have to remind to take it in Thunder Bluff before flighing to 1000 needles

Perhaps something of interest to Balance Druids and Shammys. All the mobs you will be killing to get to the Quest items are Highly resistant to nature damage. They were resisting between 80 and 120 of the damage done by all my nature spells.

i found note #2 in the large hut 33,39 .
there's two level 28 grimtotem reavers on either side when you walk in, chest is to the right.

Fun quest as a 26 druid. Stealthed in cat form around most of the mobs, and only needed to take out about 5-6. Used cat for that. Grabbed the notes, snuck back out. Very 007. Great boot reward too.
