You can find some of the wolves just north of Dalson's Tears. They also share respawns with the Carrion Lurkers, so if you don't see any wolves, theres probably a lot of spiders walking around. If you kill some of em, hopefully some will respawn as wolves.

When i did this place i walked at the area 'round the scarlet camp...
There is pretty many of them there.

For some reason,it seems to me that the appearence rate of the wolves has dropped since the expansion from the immediate area around the questgiver's place,but increased up by the lumbermill.Before I never even went close to the lumbermill,but this time round with my alt,they were not to be seen down south so I had to go to the lumbermill. I waited to see if they would respawn but only a few did.

This quest leads to http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=4986, which will award an additional 5800 XP and a nice cape, simply for going to Darnassus.

I'm so bored with this quest atm. Have been looking for the wolfes all over wpl for about two hours, and i have found 5. And it takes forever before they respawn.

I think they havet he same spawn points as the spiders. so kill all the spiders u can find. then at some point the wolfs will spawn

I got 5900 exp at level 56 for finishing this quest at level 56

The Wildlife Suffer Too (1) gives 5900 as of patch 2.3.
The Wildlife Suffer Too (2) gives 6300 as of patch 2.3.
Overall, this quest chain gives 12200 EXP. Making it a quest chain not to miss with it's overall easiness in which you can combine it with running around the WPL looking for mobs from other quests. I recommend this quest chain.

Found alot around 46,39 just north of dalson's tears farm.

PS:Im lvl 58 and the quest in green in my quest log.

EDIT:Just turned it in and got 5900xp and 300rep with the Cenarion Circle.

Keep killing spiders until the wolf's spawn instead, found alot north of dalson's tears mostly around the small mountain area 47,40

confermed if u kill the spiders called carrion lurkers in about 5min the wolfs will spawn it takes a wile but at 54 rested i got 550range of xp so it didnt hurt...

The best place is in fact 45.30. There are no spiders at all, just wolves. When you get there go along the edge of the camp full of lumberjacks. Wolves and lumberjacks. These mobs go well together in real life, same here.

Just kill the spiders and they will spawn, I did it at 49.60

You can also pick up a fair bit of http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10285, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4337, and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=14227 killing the Carrion Lurker spiders while you wait for the wolves to spawn.

Tried wolfdragonx's suggestion and it worked a treat. I killed lots of Carrion Lurker's around 51,47 and then they spawned as Diseased Wolfs.

like 100 spiders and 1 wolf, I don't see the point of shared respawn is they don't even spawn according to what's "missing" to make it 50/50 , good job blizz...

The point to this is that the wolves and spiders share spawn points. Thus if there are no wolves and all spiders, killing spiders allows wolves to spawn.

This is quite similar to Stranglethorn Vale where you kill panthers and tigers that share spawn points for the second panther and tiger mastery quest.

So here is how it works.

You arrive, all spiders, no wolves. You come here and see you need to kill spiders.

So you go and kill a bunch of spiders. Some wolves respawn and some spiders respawn. You kill all the wolves and avoid the spiders. Fewer wolves respawn. The next person only kills the wolves, fewer respawn, so on and so forth until the area is populated with spiders again and no wolves.

i couldnt find any "nearby". however north of dalson's tears i found some. watch out for scarlet crusade camps as you go north. suggest using mount to keep ahead of spiders. ultimately i did try the kill spiders to get wolves thing, dont know if killing the spiders made any difference, the wolves may have responed on their own. fortunately i didnt have competition for the wolves.

While there was little I could do alone to thwart the Scourge, I nevertheless came to these lands to try and heal the damage done to nature. Animals suffer from the plague that continues to choke these lands, unable to find mercy and peace. I ask for you to continue what I could not finish here.

There is no salvation for the suffering animals but a sweet and merciful release. Seek out diseased wolves nearby and put them down. Please <name>, end their misery - doing so will surely soothe mine.
