Un'Goro soil can be found on various mobs in Un'Goro. They can also found within Un'Goro dirt piles. The dirt piles generally yeild multiple samples of soil.

Killed about 35-45 various different bug types to finally get my Gorishi Scent Gland.

I got mine from a Worker. Don't know if the others drop or not. But if its not dropping, keep killing. Might take a while.

I got the Scent Gland off of a wasp after about 10 kills. I don't think which ones you kill matters - just keep killing.

I just toke the road from Tanaris and down to the "bug-place" on my way, I found two Un'Gore piles and it was 7 soil. I killed one bug (worker) and the item dropped. It seems as they have fixed the drop rate a bit. If not, lots of XP to you!

Did this quest as a 51 rogue, the Gland dropped of a worker, seems like they have the highes drop rate.

The Slithering Scar (Where the Gorishi bugs are) is located in the southern part of Un'Goro.

You can get the Un'Goro soil from all of the mobs in Un'Goro Crater. You can get the Scent Gland from the Gorishi Hive,southern of Un'Goro (Around 50.80 )

I got my Gorishi Scent Gland from a gorishi wasp, so it doesnt drop only from workers. They also drop lots of un'goro soil.

Beware of the wasps disease, it's a 30 minutes physical damage taken increased by 40 %, very annoying.

I got mine off of a Gorishi Tunneler, in the cave while I where I completed the Alien Ecology quest. By the time I ran in and out, it dropped for me.

I didn't even realize I had the quest. I went there for my druid quest and killed one worker and got it :P guess I just got lucky

Just to Clarify for you all and to aviod wasting time like I did, this quest is completed in un goro not tanaris. loc 50,80

I did this as a level 60 assassination rogue. It took me nearly 100 kills and over half an hour of killing these boogers. Royal pain in the butt.

try Un` Goro Dirt Pile, u find a lot of 4.And Gland i got it after 6 kills from a worker.
Do the quest with Crystals of Power, u will find the giver in the crystal cave at Marshal `s Refuge.

Kill the "Gorishi worker", he has the highest drop rate (8%).
I was lucky I got mine with only one worker.
watch out for the devilsaur(elite) running around.

Took me 4 kills, and about 2 minutes. Got the gland from a Gorishi Wasp. Very easy quest as a 52 feral druid.

Got mine from a Gorishi Worker after 30-40 kills of various bugs in the area. But as a tip for fellow pala-collegues, do not dispell the debuff which increases damage taken by 40%, as it is waste of mana, they will much likely recast it in 1-2 seconds after dispelling.

Much better idea is to kill the bug and then dispell.

You want to be careful not to sell or destroy the soil ( it is not marked quest item.
Of course, no one would be that stupid. :(

Also gives 125 rep with Booty Bay, Everlook, and Ratchet. As mentioned does not decrease Bloodsail rep.

Descrição

My research revealed to me that the silithid are like bees; destroy the queen of the hive, and the rest of should be thrown into disarray. I'll brew a lure that we'll use to bring out the queen; once summoned, you'll take her down.

First though, we need some reagents; we don't want you bungling into the jungle unprepared. Go west to find the silithid hive in Un'Goro Crater and obtain a scent gland from one of the bugs. I'll also need some samples of the native Un'Goro soil.
