Both this quest and the NPCs Larion and Muigin are references to the Nintendo-series The Mario Bros.
They are both clothed like Mario and Luigi from the games.

The Flayers can be found all over the area of the Lakkari Tar Pits.

The Thresher and Lasher's are found east of the pits, there is a good concentration of them just west of the Crate of Foodstuffs (69, 37) http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=3881

The Trapper's are all west of the pits, and right up along the western edge of the crater.

36,70 (and north of that) is were i found my 5 trappers. gotta be careful cuz elites roam these parts.

Flayers can be found at 44, 25
Lashers and Treshers can be found at 75,43 and 69, 35
Trappers can be found at 36,69

Larion and Muigin ... remove the final "n" 's ... and reverse L with the M ... and you'll see what blizzard was reffering too ...

The quest now requires 15 "Bloodpetals", a drop from any of the bloodpetal mobs instead of killing 5 of each type.

I solo'd this as a lvl 48 Hunter w/ ferocious pet. Just make sure you track where the hostile beasts are and try to fight the bloodpetals away from them! Feign Death will come into handy, too.

Just submitted a SS indicating the general area of the quest mobs. Trappers were the "most difficult". Had to watch my back constantly compared to other areas since I was on my level 49 Resto Druid. Stealth, Shapeshift root escape, and Healing are a good combo for that area.

See Muigin over there? It's HIS fault we're lost!

I'm the one that knew the way, but he insisted he knew a shortcut, and we ended up here!

To make matters worse, now he keeps sending his crazy plant pests to annoy me. I'm so angry that I'm not planning on talking to him any time soon, but these pests are too much to handle.

Why don't we try to limit his supply, first thing. Go out and hunt some Bloodpetals, then return to me.
