This q is annoying if u focus on it. Rather take it and do other q and as u walk around deso, kill the scorpions you find, preferably lvl 35-6. Good place is west of the Malgam village.

The ones who dropped the 7 venom-vials for me was:

1: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)
2: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 31 (Outside Niel's Point)
3: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)
4: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Thunder Axe Fortress - 61,29)
5: Scorpashi Lasher - Level 35 (By Mannoroc Coven - 43,75)
6: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Thunder Axe Fortress - 60,23)
7: Scorpashi Snapper - Level 30 (Outside Niel's Point)

Age Kodo Hide:

1: Aged Kodo - Level 34 (Kodo Graveyeard - 54,57)
2: Aged Kodo - Level 35 (Kodo Graveyeard - 52,56)
3: Aged Kodo - Level 35 (Kodo Graveyeard - 49,55)

Aged Kodo's had a 100% drop rate on the Aged Kodo Hide.
Scorpashi Snappers (lvl. 30 to 31) har a 50% drop-rate on the venom.
AND - take this quest together with Kodo Bones if you don't like self-inflicted torture!

A great place to get the venom is around Kormek's Hut.

That's because what you are looking at takes into account drops from people killing the the kodo but aren't on the quest so they won't get the drops. Apparently those on the quest are getting 100% while those not on the quest are getting 0% averaging 69.3%

Do "Bone Collector" and "Kodo Roundup" at while you're getting the Aged Kodo Hides from the graveyard.
-If you collect two bones, run a kodo back and come back to the GY the bones will have respawned. So you can stay at the outer edge of the GY.

Also, there is usually there is a pack of 3 Aged Kodo's passing by the Southeast end of the graveyard.

had 100% drop from Scorps lvl 35+, west of kodo graveyard and south, near mana eaters.
Kodo Hides 100% drop, around graveyard aswell.

Wow why do you of you have to be so specific? :S The locations of a single mob?

Every single Scorpashi Lasherdropped a venom for me, Snappers around 50%. From under Nigel's point, to near the Kodo graveyard, to closer to the sea, it doesn't matter where you kill them. I got drops across the entire map.

If you can't find any Aged Kodos in the Kodo graveyard (where the ingame quest marker is) you might find a few around the area. If you don't find any, just kill every Kodo that comes your way, the respawns might be aged ones.

Next on Leftwitch's list is... let's see... hmm. Oh, here it is.

Simple enough, but pretty explicit in his directions. He needs venom from the scorpashi, and hide from some kodo. The fine print says both are from specific creatures: the venom's got to come from any of the scorpashi, and the hide's got to come from an aged kodo, not the dying or ancient ones.

Mages, I tell ya, some of the stuff they want... it's just weird.
