Found them around 47, 18. You need to get them to about 20% before you can capture them.

Just a handy trick for warlocks doing this quest: replace CoA with some other curse (preferably Curse of Weakness) just before 20%, this prevents those last big ticks from killing the raptor.

While doing this quest, you could do http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1222 easily

Once you finish capturing raptors, it will lead to http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11147 and http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11145

I pulled a raptor and when it got low enough to start capturing it, I did so, however my Voidwalker was tanking a 2nd raptor which had full health next to it, but they both got captured even the one with full health.

Capturing the Raptors is channeled, but you do not take any pushback on it if you are fighting multiple mobs.

guy, why there is not any map for the lockation of the raptors? i dont know how to use "47,50" for example. please if it is possible post a map for the new players . Thank you

As a hunter I found it a bit difficult to stop my pet from attacking, stop shooting, and capture the raptor at first, but after a few tries I worked it out.

The trick with multiple captures at once still worked though.

For Shamans:
This quest could be a bit difficult to do,Since whenever they become "Weak enough to capture",Your Windfury will often kill it =/.

If you are a druid, don't use hibernate on the raptors before capturing them. If you do, the catch actually won't count for the Quest

Level80s beware! I had to use a rank 6 spell to get the raptors down to 20% because my current spells were too powerful.

Also be on the look out for a quick rare elite raptor named Speedy doing laps in the area. I got a pet as loot for killing him. =D

So there I was, in the middle of a swamp, naked, punching out dinosaurs... most dead in one hit, the rest tied up...

Some quests end up being stranger than others, particularly when done at 80.

Also, when the Dungeon Finder goes off, put your pants back on before you answer it...

Sergeant Lukas at North Point Tower wants you to capture 6 raptors. You can capture either Bloodfen Raptors or Bloodfen Screechers.

Descrição

The patch of swamp to the northeast is home to a particularly nasty breed of raptors. We've lost more than one unwary soldier to them, but I think we can turn them against our Grimtotem neighbors.

Take this rope and use it to capture bloodfen raptors or bloodfen screechers that you've subdued. I wouldn't try to capture one of the beasts until you've weakened them quite a bit in combat. It's going to be quite a struggle.
