You can start AND end the quest at that apothecary in Undercity - you just need to do the Razorfen Kraul bat guano quest for him first.

Hearts are a 100% drop from any elite Scarlet mob inside and outside of the Monastery.

As of 2.3 the mobs are no longer classed as Elite.

Also, this quest now gives 4350 experience (level 34) and 500 reputation with Undercity.

You have to complete Going, Going, Guano! as it is a prerequisite to get this quest. I was on the eligible level and couldn't take Hearts of Zeal , probably because I hadn't done the other quest.

Razorfen Kraul quest: Going, Going, Guano! Is required before you can receive this quest. Technically it is a chain quest.

Is it right that you have to be lvl 22 to get the first quest in this chain ("Going, going, guano!"), but then you need to be lvl 30 to get this quest? Kinda strange that you have to wait 8 lvls to get the next quest in the chain...

I did this a long time ago, before the lvl requirements were ajusted, so I don't know how this works anymore.

This quest counts for the Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms achievement.

Why do I need a rare type of guano, you might ask. Well, for this experiment I want to see what effect two diametrically opposed chemical substances can have on each other, especially when both are combined with an ever-toxic agent to ensure the most... ghastly results.

In the northeastern peaks of Tirisfal Glades lies the Scarlet Monastery. There the crazed disciples of the Scarlet Crusade congregate, both inside and outside the halls. Which you slay matters not, any of them may have the heart I need.
