Tips and Tricks for Mythic+ Dungeons on Explosive, Raging, Fortified

Welcome to this weeks dungeons.
Explosiva
,
Enraivecedora
,
Fortificada
, and
Atormentado
are this week's affixes! This week as a whole is a week where you have to always be stressing about Explosive and have potential mandatory enrage dispels due to Raging.
Fortificada
+
Enraivecedora
is also a very deadly combo for your tank, and thus they can die on a moment's notice. If you actively play a lot this week, I suspect you will have less hair than when starting the week.
The dungeons that it is
highly preferred
that you have an enrage dispel for are: Halls of Atonement, Spires of Ascension, Sanguine Depths, and Theater of Pain. As it is fortified and raging there are a lot of mobs that can quickly kill your tank and the remainder of your party if you are not careful.
All 3 of your DPS should select the
Sinete do Fortalecimento
anima power from
Incinerador Arkolath
. This when combined with
Explosiva
has incredibly high uptime on the % damage gain.

Necrotic Wake
Necrotic Wake's timer is one of the most forgiving out of all the dungeons you can select from. This means that as long as you play a safer strategy and can kill the bosses then you should be good to go. For general advice, using many
Zagaia Sangrenta
's on bosses is your best bet. The bosses are above and beyond the most difficult part of this dungeon, so using the Javelins on bosses is preferred.
Ânima Descarregada
and
Exaustão da Ânima
are both really powerful AOE effects in these dungeons and should be used to blow up trash packs in between times that you have cooldowns.
Tips for Necrotic Wake this week
If you are not wiping to
Enraivecedora
mobs in the Necropolis, then the bosses are still the hardest part of your journey into Necrotic Wake. Make sure that you are
Confortar
ing the
Suturado Kyriano
on CD if you have access to an enrage dispel.
For
Pragosso
just having the native Kyrian
Exaustão da Ânima
ability should do wonders on this boss. A lot of people will also elect to use a
Zagaia Sangrenta
on Blightbone + a surrounding trash pack or a
Atormentado
mob in order to execute them.
For
Amarth
as well if you CC the adds during the
Colheita Final
that are still up then the adds do not get consumed and wipe you. You will see top groups CC the mages with
Paralisia
or
Agrilhoar Morto-vivo
on every set to avoid having to kill the adds, and you can see that discussed in this
tip of the week
. This does require coordination though.
Zagaia Sangrenta
is typically used on Amarth in conjunction with a
Atormentado
mob. You can see this performed below.
For
Cirurgião Suturítico
saving a
Zagaia Sangrenta
is very common practice and using the Javelin on the first add + boss to make sure you do not have multiple adds and have potential to 1 phase the boss. If you miss the javelin on the first
Suturado Kyriano
then you may potentially have to focus the Stitchwerk or use hammers on the boss. The boss also notably does
NOT CAST HIS ESCAPE SUB 5% HP
. Alternatively, you can use very powerful CDs such as
Consagração Cinzenta
+
Sede de Sangue
, but it ultimately depends on the group and the key level. If you leave this boss alive too long and have multiple adds up you can wipe.
Lastly for
Nalthor, o Senhor da Geada
it is really typical to have
Sede de Sangue
and to not use it on Stitchflesh. You also want to
Martelo de Forja Esquecido
on
Égide Congélida
shields in which you have multiple DPS downstairs from
Exílio Sombrio
. Here is also a nice point to use Battle Rezzes and sacrifice people to the Dark Exile. This can save you time on the boss as a whole.
Also, if you have a priest who is feeling very youthful (and you have Battle Rezzes), you can
Salto da Fé
the
Exílio Sombrio
if used at the correct timing. That was performed multiple during the MDI, and you can see what it looks like

Necrotic Wake Guide
Sanguine Depths
Sanguine Depths on this week's affixes can be really tough. This is due to the fact that there are
Escriba Pesquisadora
with their Throw Research cast. Whenever
Enraivecedora
this ability becomes deadly if not dealt with quickly. On top of this, many other mobs in the dungeon are also incredibly deadly to your tank.
Tips for Sanguine Depths this week
DO NOT ZONE INTO THIS DUNGEON WITHOUT AN ENRAGE DISPEL
A massive tip involves the
Dom de Pecádia
lanterns and how to extend stacks
FOR FREE
! For the low low cost of 1
Ovo de Teia da Morte Gigante
or a
Robô Bate-bate
you too can gain another stack of the
Dom de Pecádia
buff. With it also being
Explosiva
there is no reason that you should not be able to get a 10 stack of the buff off of every lantern. Explosive does give you stacks :).
Top priority for enrage dispels in any pack you are fighting are the
Escriba Pesquisadora
as they do massive group-wide damage if left undispelled.
The biggest pain points in Sanguine Depths are the bosses. Making sure you have
Sede de Sangue
for most of the bosses will yield the best results. In Sanguine Depths you are probably afforded a full wipe to trash in bonus time that you have. You are not afforded the same luxury to wiping to bosses though. Making sure you have solid strategies for all 4 bosses in Sanguine Depths is the most important thing.
Kryxis, o Voraz
- Just making sure you drop the
Pancada Decepadora
orbs in a solid spot and soak the
Investida de Jaganata
and you will be fine.
Executor Tarvold
- Make sure you have all offensive cooldowns and focus down adds quickly. Having the
Dom de Pecádia
lantern buff is also very strong.
Grã-inspetora Berília
- Try to soak 3 - 4 stacks every time of the orbs and use strong personals. If you are doing a high enough key rotating immunities and allowing other players to soak 4 stacks of the orbs is a common strategy.
General Kaal
- is only dangerous due to the trash in the gauntlet. The boss itself is quite easy on this week if you can deal with the trash.
Sanguine Depths Guide
Spires of Ascension
Spires of Ascension's timer is incredibly forgiving most weeks if you take the dungeon pretty slow as the timer is fairly lenient. With the affixes being
Enraivecedora
+
Fortificada
your tank can be in a lot of danger on many pulls. Just safety and pulling slow is the most important part of Spires of Ascension this week. Things such as
Mergulhador do Aéter
&
Usurpador Perjuro
really need to be CCed once they start to enter raging.
Tips for Spires of Ascension this week
DO NOT ZONE INTO THIS DUNGEON WITHOUT AN ENRAGE DISPEL
First and foremost, you have to have a
Confortar
for
Enraivecedora
on the angels at the end of the dungeon (notably
Klotos
. This is due to the fact that they will absolutely one shot you with
Fortificada
+
Enraivecedora
.
Some other tips for Spires of Ascension involve when to use AOE CC effects. There are mobs such as
Mergulhador do Aéter
,
Usurpador Perjuro
, and
Escaramuçador Perjuro
which can either kill your tank instantly in the Etherdiver's case or kill your group instantly in the other mobs cases. You should be looking to apply AOE CC once these mobs reach 30% HP to mitigate the amount of damage they deal. At this point then you burn any burst AOE DPS you have to kill the mobs off.
Spires of Ascension Guide
Halls of Atonement
Halls of Atonement is probably the dungeon that is most effected by the deadly combo of
Enraivecedora
+
Fortificada
. This is due to how much this dungeon is determined by tank success to begin with, and when you throw in additional problems that your tank may face, it becomes one of the hardest dungeons by far this week.
Tips for Halls of Atonement this week
DO NOT ZONE INTO THIS DUNGEON WITHOUT AN ENRAGE DISPEL
First and foremost, the room with
Inquisidor Sigarro
spawns
Explosiva
. This is very scary and something you need to realize before going into this room.
Next is a very important mob in the dungeon,
Estilhaço de Hálkias
. These mobs absolutely have to be
Confortar
. They can wipe your full group if not soothed before their thrash goes off. The alternative is to Line of Sight the thrash, which is doable, but a lot worse.
Last tip for Halls this week is for your tank to actively kite packs very early. Due to the potency of
Enraivecedora
+
Fortificada
your tank can absolutely get insta killed if not dealing with trash appropriately. Also make sure you soothe the
Mestre de Matilha Depravado
as the shots can kill party members.
Halls of Atonement Guide
Mists of Tirna Scithe
Mists of Tirna Scithe, similar to Halls of Atonement, is very difficult on
Enraivecedora
+
Fortificada
. The trash in the maze and the trash before the first boss are both very deadly, and any mechanical mistakes can cause full wipes on these. On top of this, merging packs of trash in the maze is really difficult due to the fact that you can get killed so quickly.
Tips for Mists of Tirna Scithe this week
First off: Do not merge any packs with
Caçador do Véu da Névoa
in them. Additionally, if you have an enrage dispel, MAKE SURE IT IS THIS MOB.
Second off: Having 3 DPS run
Pluma Vulcânica
is really strong. This can cancel many casts inside of the maze and can save you a significant amount of time.
Third off:
Chamabruma
is very challenging on
Explosiva
and you need to have a ranged player looking around the room during the
Jogo de Adivinhação
A massive thing you can do that can help you with
Ingra Maloch
is using a pet to pull the 3rd
Atormentado
mob through the wall prior to engaging the boss. You just use a
Ataque de Mascote
on the tormented mob through the wall, pull the pet back and this will happen. You can read about strategies involving pulling trash through the wall

! Also, there are ways to pull mobs through the walls of the maze using a Dwarf (or cat form druid) model as they are smaller. Like I said above though, be super careful of what packs are being merged. Many if not most of the walls have spots like this, and it just takes time to figure out where these spots are. Here is an example of this:
Mists of Tirna Scithe Guide
Plaguefall
Plaguefall still has a lenient timer this season regardless of what affixes face you.
Enraivecedora
is rough in this dungeon though especially when comboed with
Fortificada
. There are a large amount of mobs that do insane tank damage. Some of the most notable ones are
Furapeste Ignóbil
,
Quebra-espinhas Pestilento
,
Roca-da-peste
, and
Emboscadora da Ninhada
. If you are looking for an enrage dispel, soothing any of these are always good picks.
Tips for Plaguefall this week
Pain points in Plaguefall are all execution related. Plaguefall is really easy on the timer, but the precision that is required in Plaguefall can be tedious if you are not coordinated.

is also very frustrating in this dungeon. The massive
Visgo Esguichante
pull on
Explosiva
is very difficult as is the

pull.
Plaguefall Guide
Theater of Pain
Theater of Pain is definitely one of the more difficult dungeons to deal as a whole especially on
Enraivecedora
. Raging is very very difficult in this dungeon as there are a lot of mini-boss style mobs that can very quickly kill your whole group. Typically
Fortificada
is not a major problem in this dungeon, but with how bad the trash is at one hitting people, it is really tough ont his week's affixes.
Tips for Theater of Pain this week
DO NOT ZONE INTO THIS DUNGEON WITHOUT AN ENRAGE DISPEL
Oros Frigicordis
should be skipped 100% of the time if you reasonably can. This will allow you to save a significant amount of time over the alternative of playing the incredibly slow Oros (see what I did there).

you can potentially be blown up.
Theater of Pain Guide
De Other Side
De Other Side is a dungeon that is make or break based on how big you can pull the Ardenweald wing. With the affixes being
Enraivecedora
,
Explosiva
, and
Fortificada
you can definitely pull the Ardenweald wing fairly large. There is a decent amount of coordination required in order to kill
Explosiva
while still pulling at a reasonable size, but you should still be able to pull it off.
Tips for De Other Side this week
Overall you should be able to complete DOS if you have a very smart tank player and a group that is willing to kill
Explosiva
. On top of this, make sure your group is very aware of
Enraivecedora
whenever it is happening. This is doubly important in the Ardenweald wing with large pulls.
The most important enrage dispel target is
4.RF-4.RF
. He can potentially kill your tank if left undispelled.
If you are reading this and you plan on going around the ring, picking up all anima powers, then going into a specific wing, please stop doing that immediately. Go left off the start and go straight into the Ardenweald area. This allows you to pick up
Oros Frigicordis
powers and notably
Carrasco Varruth
powers which are the dps powers. Doing this also minimizes backtracking in a key where the timer is tight.
The last thing is there is some cool tech on
Mercadora Xy'exa
if you are feeling ambitious enough :).
