Male Blood Elf Face Changes in 9.0.5 Result in Perpetual Smirk on All Faces

discovered a curious change after 9.0.5 went live - all male Blood Elves appear to have gained a perpetual smirk. It's unclear whether this is intentional or a bug, but we took a deeper look at the changes using our Wowhead model viewer to figure out exactly what everyone is grinning about.
And Blizzard said there'd be no new customization in Shadowlands!
We created some comparisons using our Wowhead model viewer, and in them you can see that Blizzard removed the Blood Elf Male bone files which were used for face shapes (nose, cheeks, and chin), and changing faces in the character creator or barber shop just applies different textures over the same skeleton, such as the screenshot marked new the face type 4 texture over face type 1. The most obvious result is the noticeably wider chin, and a perpetual smirk on the face of all male Blood Elf characters.
