The World of Warcraft Twitter account has
shared slides
for each of the five primary dragonflights, featuring art by Blizzard Principal Illustrator Bayard Wu! While the slides themselves serve as refreshers for those who haven't kept up with the dragons story, the real prize are the full sized wallpapers for the leader of each dragonflight available to download.
Dragonflight Slides
While the slides themselves are rather basic, lore enthusiasts may be interested to note that Ysera is featured as the leader of the Green Dragonflight rather than Merithra, despite the aspects current
confinement within the Shadowlands
. Likewise, Wrathion is highlighted as the leader of the Black Dragonflight, although he and Sabellian will be
vying for support of their leadership
during Dragonflight.
Wallpaper Art
A famed artist who has done several pieces for Blizzard Entertainment (Warcraft), Square Enix (Final Fantasy), Creative Assembly (Total Warhammer/Three Kingdoms), and more, Wu also created the
Dragonflight expansion key art
of which he recently
shared a process video
showing how it was made.
